Round Up or Exact?

When you pay someone back for something, either splitting the bill or owing money, do you round up or send the exact amount? Let's say dinner for two is $68.24, do you send them $34.12 or $35? I always round up because a few cents won't kill me and it looks better on my end. Maybe I'm just generous but especially when I'm using my card to pay and/or other inconveniences, at the very least round up.

I’ll be honest, my friends and I don’t really bother going Dutch. If I pick up a bill one time, one of my friends will pick up the bill next time. Ultimately, I think it all comes out in the wash, so we don’t exactly worry ourselves with how to reimburse each other.

If we are talking about bills, though… my roommate and I do go squarely down the middle, just to keep things copacetic.

id round up
but usually i just pay for the whole thing lol
Story of my life

Some good friends will pay the whole thing another time, others will let me pay the whole thing always 🙃

And some will pay the absolute exact middle without tax included 😶

I usually do that but there was one friend who cared about the value difference of one bill to another 👀 so I feel bad and usually just pay the whole thing everytime for that guy specifically
