For the last few days we’ve had the Administrator logged into /sex/ (mobile version). Yet the same old crap is rolling through - spam, underage posters, people looking for underage - with nobody being kicked or muted.

Just wondered what the point was of the admin logging in if this stuff is going to go unchallenged? We hardly have any mods on this room, and I thought the point of having the admin was to weed out some of this stuff?

That's either the owner or CM, and they don't personally do moderation. The room admin (grey star icon) and room mods (shield icons) take care of that. If you see rule-violating messages, be sure to report them so the staff can take care of them when they log in!
 
That is the owner of the site. he jumps in and checks the ban list, bans VIPs and manages any mods or room admins, or adjust settings in the room. He doesn't generally moderate in the sense that Mods and room admins do.
 
Okay, well hopefully if he’s paid attention to main it’s obvious for him where the issues are: there’s never another mod on when he’s on, guests are allowed to post images in main which are usually spam or disgusting, bots repeatedly flood the room, etc. Look forward to him improving the settings, the last I saw was that side rooms now only retain posts for 30 minutes, which doesn’t resolve anything in main.

You’ve now advertised the contact details of someone selling child porn, to 258,142 people on here. Perhaps remove your screenshot from your post If you can. Or crop out the CP seller and repost it

Admin is in constantly but he has a **** ton of other stuff to sort /bans etc
He may show as logged in but he's busy
I am in all the time kicking and removing what's needed
Rusty and Shiney stay up all hours we all work bloody hard
I am tired of people not appreciating the hard work put in
it's all voluntary we are not robots we need sleep like anyone else and can't be on 24/7
 
It’s not a criticism of any individual moderator to say that the number of mods on /sex/ is too few compared to its opening hours (24/7), the volume of users (always 500+) and the amount of moderation that needs doing in there. This, though, is like any post of this nature: overworked mods get defensive of the work they’re doing because criticism of the management of the site by the site owner is interpreted as digs at the volunteer mods.

What was posted in the room was seen by a maximum of 1,000 people. You shared it here to quarter of a million registered users plus however many unregistered browse this site. Of course it should be removed

Sex Chat is similar to Adult Chat. A very busy room with hundreds (sometimes thousands) of ******** with constant violations of the rules. Moderating rooms like that is a ton of work and can be very exhausting.

I, for one, appreciate everything you and the other mods and Rusty deal with on a daily basis. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻 💪🏻
