Quick update for those concerned - I've been shadow banned (also known as "Ghost Mode") for nearly 2 weeks. I've been made practically invisible to everyone. I'm unable to interact with my friends, chat with people in main, or engage with anyone in any form whatsoever.

For those who don't know, Boys Chat has implemented a new feature called "Ghost Mode" which silently bans you from interacting with anyone on the site. INCLUDING MODS. However you can still type, chat and send PMs, but no one will see it. This is NOT an official kick, ban, or mute, but yet a shadow ban that is given without reason or warning.

This is only an observation, not a complaint. I wanted to state how long this has been going on for. I've seen old geriatric pedophiles, perverts, sexual deviants, unapologetic racists, pedo-teasers, master trolls, and delusional idiots spew the most disgusting filth in chats and PMs. What's their penalty? A measly 2-hour timeout before they're back at it.

I'm genuinely curious. Has anyone else experienced this level of severe 'punishment' from a Moderator?
 
Silent mute/Ghost has been a thing for years, since digi chat. It’s used for known trolls, spammers. It worked well when people used to log in spam and log out. It’s not against the rules to use this feature. If you’re wondering if it’s been used on you, you’re free to PM the admin of the room.

Stop posting about this topic, I deleted it once before. We won’t allow ruckus over things you don’t agree with.
