True, but the Republican party we once knew has turned fascist and allowed Holocaust deniers and election result deniers in.
Not old school conservatives. I don’t consider trumpers republicans. Just my opinion on the matter.

Quoted for the truth. I have an email from our senator a ginger conservative. I kept the email because he said that he and most of the other conservatives do not like Trump personally but he was a means to an end such as ending abortions and soon banning gay marriages and eventually privatizing social security and Medicare.

He sometimes replies and I was surprised he replied personally. The senator comes across as this massive pro Christian and I was asking him why he supported Trump with the grab them by the p and paying porn star hookers for NDA. He said that he did not like Trump as a person but as a means to an end. I think too many of the old school republicans latch on to Trump to get his supporters votes.

But the RNC backs him still. There aren't many who've openly disapprove of him. He sadly has the power of his base who will vote for whoever he endorses. He is losing support but Republicans don't want to be voted out like Liz Cheney.
