Hi Karina

I am making a complaint against Southern Comfort for borderline harassment. I made a complaint against her months ago for being rude and now I feel as though shes picking on me. When I confront her about it she just kicks me and it pisses me off.

When I come on chat I sometimes say hello by saying “sup bi**ches” (typed exactly like that) and it gets a giggle from the otehr guys. I’ve been doing this for a little while with no resistance and today who pulls me up for it? Southern Comfort.

I have read the rules again and while I think the room is too strict I do follow them. The fact I can’t confront her or even chat to her about this without getting kicked is infuriating. I use this chat room as an outlet and escape from reality and she seems to expect everyone to bow down to her. I ask you to remove her as shes too power mad or at least get her to apologise. Otherwise I’ll just delete my account coz this type of behaviour should not be allowed.

Okay, so. First to address this particular situation.

No, I dont feel a mute is needed for this as in context when someone has been around for a bit, made friends, and on pretty much daily, I believe the intent was a funny greeting to friends. For me, intent means everything which is why I dont believe in blanket modding (Aside from serious issues obviously). A community is built on personalities, which is my goal.

Now that said, your history of abuse towards the staff and side is noted multiple times. Some pretty vulgar things have come out of your mouth towards staff for simply not getting your way. What Ill do from here is speak with @Southern charm and get her side of the event as well.

Replying now as to not leave you hanging, shes usually not on at this hour so it may be 12hrs or so before I can get to speak with her on the matter. Please hang tight!

To be fair, the esteemed whiskey Southen Comfort the beverage has been controversial. It went from the real deal, to then changing it to neutral spirit plus flavouring, ripping off customers Back to who knows what when they got caught.

What does this haveto do with southern charm, probably nothing. However it could also be an insightful metaphor into how deceptove humans can be when in positions of power and control.

Following our conversation yesterday Southern CHARM has kicked me for the thing we discussed yesterday, the thing you said was ok. I’m guessing you never spoke to her?

Karina stated that she would have a talk, and i believe that she will. She gave a reason as well in which there might be a long gap in response time. Please be patient!

I believe it’s only admins that can reverse a kick/ban.

Southern Charm won’t even talk to me about it. A while ago I called her out for being rude to other users and she even said she didn’t think she had to say please or thank you them she just kicked me. Whenever I bring it up to her she just kicks me again. Other users have been pming me about issues they’ve had with her and she’s been on my back for months. This site I’m sure was created for people to go have a laugh and escape fron reality for a bit and I get there has to be rules. I think it’s a bit strict but I do follow the rules and I have no issues with the other mods, only her.

I sometimes come on and say hello by saying sup bit**es (typed exactly like that and I had no issue fron anyone, it even got a few giggles from other users. I said it last night when SC was on and she told me not to, and when I mentioned no one had a problem with it she kicked me. I made this complaint to Karina about it and she agreed there was nothing worn with what I said and would speak to her. I went on earlier tonight, said it and was instantly kicked.

This is so unfair and I know now shes picking on me. If this was real life I would tear her face off but I can’t even question her about it coz our i do she just kicks me. Many other users have ahe issues with her and seems to be taking her job as a mod way too seriously.

I understand.

This is an appeal thread though, so the mod can decide to give their side, or the Admin can handle it internally. The Admin had already replied earlier, but now you have added additional complaints, thus I re-tagged Karina and the Mod in question to respond.
 
So you belive its OK to call members of the room female dogs?
Then threatened to tear my face off , , really you need to grow up and follow the rules
As the admin said your history and how you speak is vile and rude look in the mirror and be a better person
 
This honestly shouldn’t be dealt with publicly. Karina said she was aware of the issue and will decide accordingly.

I suggest that both parties allow Karina to do so, rather than doing this here.

Tagging both parties that have a clear issue with one another is messy and unprofessional.

@tasteslikepeaches I strongly advice you not to say anything more, and let the admin deal with this privately.
 
Southern comfort the head admin had no issue with it. No one in the room had an issue with it. Only you had an issue with it and had to flex your muscles to show whos boss. Whenever I meet my friends thats how I greet them, sup bitches. You need to loosen up and realise that this site is supposed to be a laugh and an escape from reality for some people to truly be themselves. I’ve had Pms fron other users telling me the issues they’ve had with you. Let’s see what Karina has to say. If you keep kicking me for something shes ok with then youre just digging yourself into a deeper hole.
