Stop allowing adult male accounts in the chat!!

You're the main reason this thread even exists, and it's scary that you don't even see that.

Banning all males would just encourage the room to get trolled more in all honesty. It would be like setting a mouse into a crowd. There's already some who go there because they know some of the users get mad if a male shows up, and that hurts their feelings. Look at boys chat, they obviously ban predators and what happens? They still show up to cause problems.


I think if the common abusers who abuse the users daily (like the one I Quoted) were banned, you'd see a large chunk of the problems dealt with, because each time threads like these are made, this certain someone shows up to act like the victim or harass the thread maker.

Ignoring and reporting is not a real solution. Girls don't always feel comfortable to report those cases, not even talking about dealing with it.

I am familiar with the role that men are allowed in chat, but perhaps it's time to rethink this option.

I want all the girls to think about your own father and try to imagine him going to a room full of teenage girls. And for all the moms out there in the room, try to think about your daughters being in a chat room with adult males - yes, it's a disturbing thought and I don't think anyone would want that.

If you want to keep this room somehow safe and make more real girls join this room, you need to take action on this.

The solution to this is simple -

1. Either separate the room into two rooms - one that is designated only for GIRLS in the ages of 13 to 17, and one that is designated for adult girls (and there you might allow adult males too, and no - adults chat/lesbian chat are not the solutions here)

2. Prevent from male accounts from a certain age to enter the room

I know there are adult women too that are not better, and of course there are the catfish, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the current situation.

I agree with you. I know what you mean. The Girls chat room should only be Girls.. This person is in the girls Chat room And I wish they would be more aware of this
 
They should at least not max out reports . There is a 16 year old boy in there with a pic of his ya know on his profile and maks in there turned on over it . Can’t report either cause my reports are full .

On the face of it, it is somewhat hypocritical to complain about sexism toward females if the reverse exists, but the fact that males were able and are to disrupt the room is wrong. Again I’m not against males in the room, unless you want chat to implement an ID requirement (and who would give their personal details to this site) then there is no way of stopping it. However it’s females who should shape the nature of the room.

Oh and some of the females are just as creepy as the guys, however there are certain guys who are creepy in plain site, but I assume purchasing VIP protects them

It was a very troubling time. One particular male, whined about how girls would talk about guys and demanded a change in our behavior but refused to alter his own behavior about what he would say about females. Now, things are pretty much back to normal, (as much as normal can be in a chat room, lol).

I agree, having only 2 or 3 reports is awful, but consider there are usually about 300 people in the room so when a mod or the CM does come in, the report will be huge. As for the kid showing whatever he's showing, take a screen shot and pass it on to a mod to pass on to the CM and get the kid banned.
