Do your pets have any strange or funny little quirks?

We have a cat that will wait outside the bathroom if he knows someone is in the bath and as soon as the door opens he will jump in the tub and lap at any water left in the tub. Totally gross :disgust

He will also see a bird in the garden through the patio doors and try and chase it so he usually gets a big bump on the head.
 
My cat likes to come through windows, she jumps onto the conservatory roof and through the bathroom window. If it's not open she just stands on the ledge waiting.
My other cat likes to scrape everything after she has done something. She also sits on our driveway meowing early hours in the morning to be let in.
If someone says they're going to the toilet one of my dogs will race up the stairs and sit in the bathroom waiting for an empty toilet roll. :lol:

 
My eldest dog Scamp loves to cuddle, literally. She'll constantly be trying to snuggle her head under our arms or nuzzle into the sides of our necks. She basically tries to get as close as she possibly can to us and has done it for over 11 years. If you're ever sat down she'll sometimes come over and a pat and be on her way, other times she'll sit with her chin on the edge of the sofa looking at you until you entice her up - Then the mass snuggling begins. 😛

Sasha is just a nut job and anything she does is bloody hilarious. She's the ditziest and funniest dog I've known.
One thing I find especially amusing is the way she walks, she bounces and prances along it's so cute.


Cookie? Just looking at her makes me ~lol~ with her little tiny orc teeth.
 
My dog Chewy will actually argue with me. I'll tell him no, and he'll sit there and bark in protest. Bandit almost does the same thing except she will lay down, and crawl towards me moving her head back and forth, and half bark half whine. She'll also freak out when I take her toys away from her. Her favorite is a squeaky toy shaped like a rabbit. She'll like, grab it from me, and bite it until she finds the squeaker and bite down on it, it's quite adorable!
 
Uhhh, my rabbit, Ezio enjoys bullying our other pets. He chases the cats away if they try and jump up on our laps and he has been brave enough to play with one of the dogs.

The youngest cat, Garfield, enjoys following people into the bathroom and jumping up onto their shoulders to get attention while they are on the toilet.

One day my parrot saw a rat here and there he screeches loudly then suddenly we all rush towards him and as we had no idea why he was screeching ,suddenly I saw a rat run as fast as possible for him to hide behind him then I got it why he was screeched.Really that was so interesting scene of my life.This was funny thing my pet done.:clap:

I have a doberman/rottweiler mix that is hilarious. Any time a palmetto bug comes into the house and my dog sees it she will chase it over to a corner so it won't go where else. She then lays on the bug and pushes her body against the wall/floor/bug(?). It's hilarious.

Though I have had several pets my lab was by far the nuttiest,:screwy:

My lab would be asleep an let one go an wake up startled an confused.. looking at anyone around like they were the ones who let one go.:hmm:
He also use to chase lazer lights straight into furniture an walls:banghead:.When not looking he would go into the bathroom an turn the sink on to get water.😏I use to find him with his head stuck in so many things ..things you wouldn't think a pup could fit in his head...like a candy container<halloween pumpkin> ubder the house!:im_with_stupid:😀
 
dog inside or outside will just run back and forth....growl.....inside will run all over the place,,,hilarious....outside he will stop in mid run to do his business.....................cat likes to hop up on dryer, put its paws on your shoulder and give hugs
 
My cats.. I have 3 of these furry creatures. One of my cat her name is China and she always nurse the kittens of other cats. Strange that she's acting like a "mom" to all to all the kittens she sees.
 
Both of my cats, Luca and Jax, will follow you or anyone else into the bathroom or sit outside the door and wait for you. It's kinda silly, but I think they do it because if they sneak into the bathroom with you that they're almost guaranteed to get some sort of attention.

And my female cat, Luca, has this weird thing where she lays and sleeps on her back. Half of the time you'll catch her lounging on my bed or on the back of the couch laying like a cat normally will, but then there's other times that you'll see her laying in the middle of the floor, on the couch cushion, on the bed or under my coffee table on her back with her paws folded over her chest. :grin:
 
My dog will randomly spaz out and sprint from the living to the kitchen several times for no apparent reason. When given a treat, she will take it to the rug in the living room to eat it. Also, she won't eat her food over the food bowl and she sort of picks out the individual pieces. If that makes sense..
 
just vacuuming and sweeping the floors this morning, and my dogs have this thing where they like to attack the vacuum and broom. My vacuum has bite marks on it from them !!
 
Beau likes to bunny hop. He literally bunny hops straight up into the air like a rabbit. He looks to be about 3 to 4 feet off the ground when he does it.
 
everytime my dog sleeps we put him some unused clothes and in the morning when i look on his cage he's sleeping inside the unused clothes, he use the unused clothes as his blanket

may he rest in peace in heaven :reallysad: he died about a week ago :crying:

Our adopted Great Dane, Zulu (our first Dane) is very smart. He learns from observing mostly. Counter surfing comes easily for a Dane since they are so tall. Zulu's head easily rests on the counter top so nothing is safe. We installed baby gates to not only restrict his access to the kitchen but also to separate him from Ozzy, the Yorkie from Hell. (Ozzy weighs 7 lbs but thinks he is much larger. Ozzy attacks Zulu every chance he gets. Zulu weighs in at 125lbs) Once Zulu lost 24 hour access to the kitchen he learned how to use his nose to lift the handle on the gate and then eat everything within reach. We assumed by putting the handle in the locking position would solve the problem but Zulu learned to use his mouth to put pressure on the handle, releasing the lock. A few days ago we witnesses him doing that with our own eyes.
So now he has not only taught himself to unlock the baby gate but he also knows that stepping on the peddle of the kitchen garbage can will give him access to the garbage, tugging on the dishcloth lopped through the handle of the refrigerator gives him access to the food in the fridge AND he quickly leaned that biting the pantry door handle gives him access to all kinds of goodies. He loved the box of cereal he ate and even the box of dry macaroni. He is too smart for our own good. LOL

I just have one weird fluffy cat that meows at me... Like I literally would just stand there and meow back at her and it'll be like I'm having a full conversation... She's also the same cat that'll scratch you so you could pet her...

My dog will bring me her toy if I'm ever out for a long day and just run around the house consistently for fifteen minutes... Like even if I sit down uninterested... She'd still be running with it in her mouth tossing it around herself so I could play with her

My Savannah Monitor started to hiss at me today so I guess I should be handling him more

Used to have a Malamute-mix which would stick her nose in the snow and then go galloping around the yard, face-first, like some kinda poochie-snow-blowin' ..??? .. :dontknow: ...'thingie' .... Great plumes of snow would be poofing up into the air, and all you'd see is dog-butt and paddlin' hind quarters zipping around the yard..

Occasionally she'd raise her big-fluffy head, a HUGE pile of snow on-top of her beak, Big Smile on her face ...

But, she popped all four of her furry little clogs, and hadta-went to doggie heaven :crying:

Boo Boo would lay on his side by the base board and lick it ... finally I told him ... that's enough Boo Boo, you've had enough wall for today 😀

Toopy, my mother's little rat of a dog.. Will spaz if he hears the car doors unlock.. He also torments my cat Binoo by hip-checking into her every time they see each other.

Binoo, she's just a b*tch of a deaf cat. Only person allowed to touch her, or even look at her is me. She'll attack anyone else. On her good days, which is rare, she'll allow you to pet her with one finger, nothing more, unless you like your hand shredded.

Marley, will be 10 months old at the end of this month, and f*ck is she ever adorable. She taught herself at 4months to do a happy-dance whenever she gets her favorite treat. She freaks out if I leave her in a room for .5seconds. If I walk little man to the bus stop without her, she will sit and wait at the main door watching out the window until my return, she then runs around the house like she's retarded, banging her head off the corners of the walls in pure excitement. If you were to use the bathroom, she will barge in right behind you and rest her head on your lap and stare at you until you're finished, chases her tail as you flush, then goes into my room and unmakes my bed, for some odd reason.
 
My cat always snuggles up when it's time to go to bed. She literally places her head on the pillow next to mine and purrs away. She's a sweetheart. :heartbeat Another thing she does is, I've taught her how to shake "hands" for treats... So every five minutes, she sat on the table with her paw out, giving you one of this faces;

We have a dog (A puppy) who likes to eat cat scat out of the litter box, we had to fix a way to keep him out of the cats business. Of all the things he could be eating why that? Very strange! 🤢
 
sometimes my cat keeps staring at random places on walls or objects, wondered if shes seeing anything like ghosts lol or something.
