#1- You should be given the option to accept or decline gifted VIP's

Far too many weirdos gifting people VIP's in a stalker'ish sorta way making both men and women uncomfortable.

#2- If you buy lifetime VIP you ought to have the ability to create a side room with cameras and/or install quiz in your own side room

I think that's not only cool, but it would be a compromise on the original promise that VIPs would be able to cam

#3- Make all rooms no longer have the guest option

There are just too many trolls or regulars coming in spying on people and bullying people on guest accounts. If anything at all, make it to where the guests cannot type anything but can still view the rooms. Maybe create a Guest Room, where people can chat without registering. Either way, the site would still get the clicks that it gets now.

#4- A new algorithm that recognizes repeated posts and automatically mutes anyone who double posts

Trolls like "Jamie", "YouDontSay," and others just constantly get away with flooding rooms and most of these rooms are horribly understaffed, while others have more than plenty of mods

#5- Whatever happened to having mods covering the time zones?

When I was modding (2005, 2008 and 2010) there usually was 3 USA mods, 2 UK mods, and 2 AUS mods, to make sure somebody was always around to keep the nonsense down to a bare minimum. Maybe it's just a problem in Singles Chat, but there needs to be more people on staff.

I would tend to agree with the above 2 suggestions.

Forum traffic in general has declined (others may like to confirm also) considerably probably since you’ve been a staff member here.

Removing guest accounts means less users and that won’t happen unless there may be other constraints in future. Though the idea to remove guest accessibility isn’t too bad of an idea for those rooms that only have 5-40 chatter consistency.

Singles is incredibly understaffed.

There is no admin anymore. The only two consistent daily mods are Screem and Absolut Bitch; Welsh sometimes comes in, and Fubar & ShyOne come in maybe (if we're lucky) once a month.

I'm aware people have lives, etc but if you cannot do "the job" on a regular basis, there needs to be other people taking over the positions.

As for the other ideas, I think they all hold some sort of validity. Guest accessibility most definitely needs to be curbed. Let them be able to get into the rooms but not be able to write anything. That way you still get the clicks, and if there is still concerns then turn Sports or Music Chat into "Guest Chat" since those rooms have virtually zero traffic anyways. Or just make a new chat room for the guests if that's too much work.

These are matters you can directly take up with Chatmaster @Chatmaster

Given your excellent formulation of suggestions, I believe @Chatmaster will appreciate a Private Message from you relaying your concerns.

It’s probable that you may be a good and positive strength to the Singles Chat room as the new Chat Room Administrator - you’d be encouraged to apply if you feel you’re up for it.

I know Screem, Welsh, and Absolut Bitch have said they don't want the admin position. I've put in an application to be a mod cuz there needs to be extra help. I reckon nobody in their presently has more experience on this site than me with the exception of Screem and Absolut Bitch.

Then if you can demonstrate to @Chatmaster that you are a) a regular, b) well versed in Singles Chat, and yeah probably other reasons, you may wish to reconsider your application and go for the Room Admin vacancy should you have interest.

If that is the position that needs to be filled then I would take it. However even at that there still needs to be more mods anyways. And I've been basically a singles chat member since 2004, and have previously modded three times. Once in singles (2005) and twice in dating (2008, 2010) back when Ali and Heather and Aly were the admins.

Ey, pm the CM, his the room admin for that room. Detail what you have said to him and wait to see if you get any response - you may or you may not - all comes down to how you present yourself to him/her/she/he - just kidding it’s a he. Lol.

Such an artist. Ya gotta put in the effort, it may be ideal that you gather from any present room admin, if they know you well enough. It may help.

Singles doesn't have a administrator right now ever since purple rose was fired or resigned. So, lol, Just going to have to play the waiting game with the application with the ChatMaster.

Im not sure if those suggestions are all meant re the Singles room, but I can tell you I dont think camera options would be a good idea in our room - we have 13+ last thing we need is minors going into side rooms with anyone who can cam-
