The biggest problem with Gay Chat

I have been using the Gay Chat room for months and time after time it has been flooded with messages of people looking for kids, kids looking for adults, and just straight up CP. The mods have made little to no effort to stop any of this. You can literally go in the room and see what I’m talking about. I understand that the mods can’t be in the room 24/7 but good fucking lord it just gets worse and worse. Not to men the fact thes people go sil when a mod enters the room and go straight back to doin the fucked up **** I said at the beginning. How hard is it to have a mod sign in as a guest, get down the names of the people clearly doing this sick stuff, and then just perm banning them from the site? This method would literally decrease the amount of horrendous **** by like 90%. Not to mention that when they know a kid is on the site, they just put “kick” on their account name instead of just banning them. You guys are mods, please do your job.

There’s also VPNs and stuft to change their IP. I’ve been a kids chat mod since April so I know what you mean but the only way to really stop them is to put them in jail where they belong.

The gay chat team are actually incredible. I just recently moved to mod this room from another. All the mods in Gay chat take the safety of ******** very seriously and so does the admin. Underage users are kicked on site and reported to the admin and he bans every single one we report. We all have real life jobs and lives and can’t be there every second of every day. This is an unfair assessment and kinda offensive to the hard work the team put in. Just because you can’t see what goes on behind the scenes doesn’t mean no action is being taken.

Complaints about the lack of resources for mods/ admins to do a more thorough job should go to @Chatmaster

In the mean time, if you think you could do a better job, by all means apply for mod. 🙂

If this is getting closed, @MissMotive, I would just like to say, we miss you. I miss you. Gay Chat is lucky to have you. I'm glad you're loved and appreciated there, there's no one more deserving of it than you.

Okay let's see.

You say you've been using the room for months well myself and the majority of my mods and I have been either using the room to chat in or modding it to the best of our abilities with the tools we've got to work with for years. So I resent the fact you baselessly say my team have made little to no effort to keep the undesirables out of the room.

You may understand we cannot be in the room 24/7, but it's clear to me you're still not grasping the whole picture because if you did you would know the following;

- Mods cannot ban only the room admin can do so.
- Mods give their time to this site voluntarily with very little thanks from senior management.
- The tools mods are given to clean up the rooms have been severely limited and there's nothing anyone of us here, myself included, can do about it. As much as we would like to.
- There is a whole variety of things out there assisting and aiding people to fly under the radar.

There's about another 6 to 8 points that could be made but hopefully you're getting the gist now.

If you wish we can discuss this further, my inbox is always open oh and btw please don't waste your time sending me a mod application, thanks.
