So i report the bible basher for racist posts , in fact quite a few .
I report a user for issuing death threats and worse quite a few times.
However mine and another users Gifs were removed from the whingers thread and the user spewing death threats and vile abuse is still here so clearly a UM has been in .
And i will say this again @Chatmaster why do you let the UM's STILL use invisible and sneak around , whereas if they appeared online a direct PM could result in better handling of reports.

I’v reported her many times.
 
Really valid points so I wanted to get in before you know.
Reports fall on deaf ears or eyes in this case. This person whose responses I no longer see has a history of vile behavior including expressions of violence and racism. Someone will come in and say how they banned this person from responding in the Butt Sniff Post. However this user usually gets a pass. This person often instigates and goes off the rails and deserves to be banned as much if not more than Luka.
*Note no names other than Luka was used composing this response.

Luka isn’t always innocent like you say. But there are certain posts were even I’m shocked where the only thing done is a deleted post and not even an infraction for said person. Like something that if anyone else said they would get more than likely reprimanded.

I’m not playing favorites. Regardless of who you are on here if a person did something wrong or saI’d something wrong on more then one occasion said person should be punished and or reprimanded. (And i don’t just mean having their post removed.)

Good point no one even Luka would say he is innocent. However all rules should apply equally to all users of this forum. I think protecting "special" people though well intended just emboldens the special user. Mental illness is not an excuse for a free ride.

I can understand that. I am for speaking your mind but not at the cost if it being homophobic words or slander. Like you said mental illness is a thing, but you can’t use it as a crutch or excuse.
 
Even if you flag it (report it) the ums might or might not do anything about it.

I don't know about @Ness_eb because me and him ever had any issues.

But Sam no wise is a tyrant and we all know it. He only bans when he gets trolled.

Events had overtaken this thread. I see Mr/Miss "Death Threats/Abuse" is already gone.
 
I’d also like to point out that there are times I reported a certain someone’s post and no action was taken when it should be taken.

Person likes to think when tagging Um’s that they will get rid of anything she doesn’t like or when she feels she’s getting attacked. When in some cases she is the aggressor.

One user got himself banned and knew it was coming. But just because Ness and I respected the ban doesn't mean we pulled the trigger. Speaking of triggered, same user went off the rails publicly on an anti trans rant in EE ( but he had been doing ok in the debate thread on same subject but his position is well known)

He did the equivalent of kicking dirt on home plate and arguing with the ump knowing he was going to go. The other user, is guilty of getting triggered, possibly not comprehending, and overreacting //arguing-but doesn't go into bigotry (in the reports) -- i've said before -if we banned everyone who was annoying (or throws around gifs around etc) who would be left?

How about not being so thin skinned and using iggy, chat warriors.

The fact is, Ness and I didn't ban him. When I said we are "respecting the ban" I should have said are "honouring the ban" meaning we would not undo it.

(Truth be told he got himself banned, and would tell you that himself.)

Another truth is a lot of users feign outrage at things that can be easily ignored, ( and that outrage- at times- is also couched in some bigotry); you won't want to hear this, but the days of banning people simply because a clique want's that are over. Fairness has to extend even to those who some people dislike. Goodnight.👽

edit: FYI I've had some Lukas bans reduced/lifted even during the 6 month stretch he attacked me daily lol - that fairness thing eh.

The same goes for akbar. You protect these people because you feel they are vulnerable. You have double standards. This is not about the clique as you refer to them or us by. The clique being former mods and admins most of which have longer service to chat avenue than you have and also a group who thinks their farts stink. Unlike you and the unholy trinity of terror Proncessa, Akbar and British Saggy Cow who rather enjoy smelling one anothers gassy emissions.

Just because people dont get banned for annoying you (plural) - doesn't mean we are defending anyone. <---that is something that users sometimes can't grasp but needs to be said.

You need to resign as UM before you run Ness EB or Dess EB as I call him. It is kind of hard at times to take screen shots of her/him/ it because you protect her and delete any thread. You or the other have banned her from threads but do nothing about her psychotic rants.
It is disturbing to me that you protect your vulnerable harem. You are not doing them favors you are taking advantage of them. But I understand you are a widower and things get lonely on those cold dark Canadian nights.

more than 90% of the traffic to the forums and chats are for nefarious purposes and as far as I am concerned the 'specials' like The Difference and samcant who continue to make excuses, deflect with 'we are working really hard' blah blah blah are complicit in Chatmasters plans of increasing traffic by minimal penalties applied to paedophiles on this website and maximum penalties for those that call it out.

The most frustrating thing is you only need to look at Boys Chat, Adult, Sex and gay chat to see that the facts are slapping you useless enablers in the face, yet you continue to defend the indefensible.

When people realise that this website and it owners are using volunteer staff to make it appear that they helping control paedophiles, while at the same time tying your hands behind your back with restricted and absent tools.

Enablers are as guilty as the perpetrators, and it will all come out in the wash.

What exactly am I making excuses for? I don’t recall ever making excuses for anything. Because I said I work hard at getting rid of pedos? I do. Every day and every night for years.
And I don’t see anything wrong with doing everything I can to remove them from the site. At least I’m doing something rather than just bitching about how horrible the site is.

If you have a problem with the penalties for pedos, or the way the site is run, you know who to take those to. Spoiler alert: it’s not me. Disparaging the people who are trying to make a difference, as best we can, serves no purpose. Except maybe to make yourself feel better? Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I just know now that Sam isn’t interested in any actual debate. Just wants his narrative to be the only word. Just today he misrepresented something I said last night, twisting my words and tries to say I said something I never did. Then, so I couldn’t respond back he closes my ability to respond on his thread about underage mods 😆. And lies and says I went off topic which I absolutely did not. Only someone who is afraid of a response will censor and shut down any response 😉.

you were blocked from one forum thread for 4 hours because you continued to single out a 15 yo mod, which was made clear in debate forum, wouldn't be allowed. Your remarks are there, nothing was censored. You just seem to have a problem following rules that others seem able to do.

That is exactly what happens when Sam doesnt want his narrative questioned or he mutes you for a few days for good measure. Happened to me a few times with others doing the exact same thing with no refraction, or you are labeled a troll, or bitter ex mod, it happends when you place emphasis on this is your reason for living and ego relates to your volunteer position on a website.

I have to admit I have heard this before, but never saw it first hand until today. As far as I’m concerned it’s water under the bridge, but disappointing nonetheless.

That is it in a nutshell. I guess I am still a bitter ex mod after 10 years of not modding or really chatting. I enjoyed my time but events made it come to past that I really no longer had time so I quit coming to chat avenue. I got chastised for walking away from a non paying job and leaving the ******** in peril. But life happens and jobs that pay take precedent over those that don't.
I know that the new mod for GC has experience, savvy and is not afraid to speak their mind. However with his history I am not sure Sam's intentions are all that honorable. That is what worries me.
 
Since this is now another scatter gun forums complaint of some kind-- take it to Chatmaster- you know how- you tagged him,
