The influx of spamming using guest names

Good day to everyone.
I'm sure everyone is aware of it doesn't matter what chat room you're in that there has been an influx of spammers lashing out at certain individuals, moderators, and at administration staff.
This has been a huge disruption to ******** such as me and others, but they are using guest accounts, and no matter how many times they've either been on ignore from other users, or mods and administration have kicked them out of the room they keep returning upon hours upon end.
I would probably say being a technical person, that they're using VPN, or roaming on a phone and using different cell phone towers to circumvent kicks and bans.
So in closing I was wanting to hear from any moderators or administration as in suspending guest accounts and making all who come here register so that we can have a better chatting experience and keep such things out of the chat room that disturb and cause disruptions.
I thank you for your time and would love to read the input people will put to this message.

It won’t happen. One of the biggest attractions of CA is that it allows guests.

Why not just turn off PMs from guests?

Go to your profile > private settings > user

This concept has been suggested for years by staff and users alike. The owners choose not to do it. It’s their site, their decision.
I can only speak for myself, but in Adult Chat I try my hardest to eliminate trolls and spammers in Main chat as fast as possible to ensure a better user experience for the ********. Thank you for your suggestion.
 
It's never going to change and has been suggested since the start of this site, even when the founder sold it over. Only thing I'd suggest is to log on when a moderator is on to deal with it. In my experience just even when I lurk, I notice a majority of these types of people will wait until a mod leaves or isn't on to start their BS.

I don't think anyone here disagrees with you but multiple threads have been made about this issue, even when guests are spamming for hours while a mod/mods are on and it will never be removed. The feature was intended for people to try out the site and register if they liked it, but it's mainly used by people who want to harass users and come off ignore every time.
 
If they only left guests (And first time when users log on ever) muted for 10 or 15 minutes before they can start chatting. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

And I'm not gonna stop until Chatmaster tells me to stfu. Or eventually I get tired of it first. 🤣
But the point is to make the spammers bored. If they have to wait 15 minutes between every time they roll ann IP, or gets kicked anyway before they get the chance to spam will bore them, and they eventually gives up.

eh they get muted /kicked for lots of different times and still come back so your theory there is wrong and you will get tiered long before Chatmaster says anything to you .
 
@HR PufnStuf come here for a second....tell op what the general chat has been dealing with since October 2022 til now....and how it take 5-7 mods to deal with one spammer 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh yes, but at least I thought it will ease the pressure a bit, and there are guests (and not to mention bots) that will get a harder time with this. I've also seen this being done somewhere else, and there are indeed less spam in the main chatrooms.

I don't think the chatmaster will listen to the (remove guest option) anytime soon. I wish he did though. Would make chat life easier....

That’s where you’re wrong. Nothing needs to be done about it according to the people who run this site because they still get ad revenue and make their money.

They don’t give a single solitary 💩 about the “quality” of the chatrooms or who is effected so long as their bottom line isn’t threatened.

It’s a good, logical, common sense suggestion, one that’s been presented numerous times over this websites lifetime. But it’s never going to happen.

The owners must deem registering every account to be un- needed or perhaps would discourage to many users.

While your suggestions might help slow/stop trolls in some instances- it could very well impact far too many users who do nothing wrong. And the site administration does not want to unfairly effect legitimate users, while trying to limit the few undesirable ones.
