The mom word

Ive read the rules top to bottom and back. The term "Daddy" or actually any similar name is not allowed. And I understand why. However
Why are so many registered and guests using the "Mom" word or similar words in their login names. Isn't this just a way to inform people you have a child. I truely feel that "mom" or similar words meaning the same should be against the same set of rules.

Back when I did the mod thing I remember some rooms had room specific rules which were not always in line with the rules provided to us by our great Lord and Giver of kicks Chatmaster. If I recall the rule was you could not forbid the mom and dad names unless that name suggested an unnatural interest in children. I think Kim probably could best answer this since the adult chat room is edgy.

Back in the day when Cat was our Admin Mom/Mum Dad names weren't allowed . Now however The powers That be have deemed these fine "Just because a chatter has Mom/Mum or dad etc in their name it doesn't make the a ped " , you go figure.

I remember when mom and dad names etc were an immediate kick. This was a hot topic when I was an admin and difficult to communicate to the mods what the new rules were. Some rooms were rogue, general chat being one.Some mods kept kicking for just having a family name and it took time to bring them around. I think some names are obvious kicks like Dad Likes to diddle daughter but the name Dad of two small girls even though that sounds creepier than hell you can't kick. As you said go figure.

The use of family names without sexual context isn't something we address in
General Chat- that was affirmed when Clare was the Admin. BLM is right about the history of all that in Gen - it was basically decided that booting *dadwith2daughters* just for that was silly. I have to agree because without some inappropriate context-it's not really fair to remove users for being a parent, or a brother or whatever etc.

The term *daddy* can (but isn't always) a sexual reference. But really it's all about context.

I was moslty asking becuase some one said all rooms had to allow mom and dad names coming from chatmaster but I remember bento and MAI, in les chat, used to not allow mom or dad names so I didnt know if that information is true
 
I would agree context is all.
But the general rule is we allow mum dad etc unless we have a context which makes it inappropriate under other guidelines.

However daddy is the reverse and mostly is to be removed.

If you have specific questions on rules that apply to a specific room, then you need to ask that room admin. Global rules such as they exist are on the main page of the chatsite- how they are applied in each distinct room is that room admin responsibility.

Since you seem most concerned with Lesbian Chat, flamesong is who you need to discuss this with.
