Last Thursday at work I went up to the third floor in the ILC building where I work at Texas A+M campus to pull all the trash in the office area there. As I was taking a garbage bag out of a small trash can an older woman employee came up to me and gave me an envelope with my name on it. She said this was from everyone at the office. I thanked her and asked her if she would like me to pull the trash from her office. After I was done on the third floor pulling all the trash I took my barrel of trash downstairs to the first floor and set it aside in the hallway. I went to the small copy room with the envelope to see what was inside of it. It was a Hallmark thank you card. When I opened the card there were messages from employees at the office thanking me for my hard work and wishing me happy holidays. But what I also found in the Hallmark card was $115 cash! I wasn't expecting that! I was expecting like a Hallmark card with maybe a gift card to a restaurant or something but they gave me cash! Nice little bonus! It came at just the right time because I was broke. I felt warm, grateful and a little emotional when I saw their gift. I really have the best job ever and I've had it for three years and one month now. Just wanted to share that with everyone.
