I'm not a fan of Chrome. I use either Brave or Iron both of which are based on the open source Chromium project but free of the ****** nonsense.

Is there a browser you prefer?
 
I tend to use chrome because of my habits...i use Brave as a secondary when I have specific things that need an entirely new browser but not don't want to just create a new profile within that browser.

The scam around Brave around a year or two ago didn't scare you from it?
 
Nope. It's probably the most secure browser available. If there were a real problem with it I'm pretty sure my mum would be all over it.

Do you routinely opt out of cookies?
 
Aye FPB to keep FB under control, UBlock, and a plugin that forces go ogle image search away from the awful lens and back to the original.

Do you use incognito a lot?
 
everything CA related has been incognito...more cause it's easier to ctrl-shift-t a new session than use a different profile when i reboot my system

do you use more than one profile in your browser?
 
I don't have profiles integrated into my browsers. The idea of preferences and bookmarks following me around is not for me.

Do you hit snooze when your alarm goes off?
 
eventually leave my computer...take my meds...let fuggles out...make sure he's not hungry...go to bed...so yeah, apparently.

Uhhh...it's not so much stuck in my head as it's comfort songs that patterns trigger in my head...so i can stop whenever the pattern needs not being attached to said song...if that makes sense probably not

No, I really struggle to read faces in general. I'm definitely not trying to decipher a fart face amongst the endless possibilities.

Nobody trusts Labour enough yet to hand them an outright victory and the swing needed is way higher than Blair's in '97. I think it will be a hung parliament with a Lib/Lab coalition or the Tories and the DUP

Eh? No. I'm too young and if I remember right the counters are local council volunteers.

Would you go out canvassing for a politician?
 
If I found one that I truly believed in and who stood a chance, yes I would

Here, they pay council staff overtime to do it but if they don't have enough they open it to applications and it's not bad money for the time you spend doing it

Yes, I love summer rain when it's hot and it just comes along to give a nice little refresh

Yes, when it's winter in the UK. Because our summers are so bad, I can still experience British winter in the summer months

Have you seen Nicola Fish's evidence to the COVID enquiry?
 
Yes. She's been honest about everything. She was a far better leader for Scotland than the mop-headed yah was for England during the pandemic. She had to deal with Westminster trying to exclude her from key meetings and not giving her necessary information and she still played a blinder throughout. Not wanting to get too political but there are and have been clear agendas here to try to discredit and destroy the SNPs popularity along with derailing the independence movement. Why? Because Scotland has renewable self sufficiency and the potential to export it. They want our renewable resource for the UK.

Do you think we should get independence?
 
No but that's because I wouldn't want to have to show a passport to jump over Hadrian's Wall.

I think that the arguments made by many in the Scottish independence movement for the UK remaining in the EU actually hurt the argument for independence from the UK. I don't know enough about the arguments on either side of Scottish independence for me to make an informed decision on whether I think it should happen but if a majority voted for it then that should be honoured in the same way that Brexit was. Independence can also be a slippery slope - if Scotland becomes independent, she'd have no right to deny independence to Lewis & Harris if they ever requested it. PS. Agree completely about BoJo in COVID.
