For Mental Health Awareness Week, I'm quoting mentalhealth.org here to explain the reason for this post:

Anxiety is a normal emotion in us all, but sometimes it can get out of control and become a mental health problem.

Lots of things can lead to feelings of anxiety, including exam pressures, relationships, starting a new job (or losing one) or other big life events. We can also get anxious when it comes to things to do with money and not being able to meet our basic needs, like heating our home or buying food. But anxiety can be made easier to manage.

Focusing on anxiety for this year's Mental Health Awareness Week will increase people's awareness and understanding of anxiety by providing information on the things that can help prevent it from becoming a problem. At the same time, we will keep up the pressure to demand change - making sure that improving mental health is a key priority for the government and society as a whole.

TL;DR: Post below what you do to help with anxiety. I'll start:

#ToHelpMyAnxiety I often do progressive muscle relaxation and mindfulness exercises

Read, self care (bath, face mask, whatever), I walk if I start feeling the tingling limbs that's a give away. I force people to play uno or cards against humanity with me. I put on loud music.

I go and be around other people, or sometimes I want to be alone. It all depends how it's manifesting and what kind of symptoms I'm getting.

I find exercise helps, and CBD with a wine chaser. (but not too much) also perma iggy the news .
CBD gives me anxiety 🙁 I’m fortunate for the passing of legislated medical Marijuana however, being able to confidently know the product I’m receiving has passed a standard opposed to your standard grow house.

How are you doing these days?
Dealing with anxiety can be challenging, but there are several effective strategies you can implement to alleviate its grip on your life. Anxiety affects people differently, but the common goal is to find methods that work for you to foster a sense of calm and well-being.
Remember, managing anxiety is an ongoing process, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. What works for one person may not work for another. If your anxiety persists and interferes with your daily life, consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor.
It's essential to be cautious when exploring potential solutions for anxiety online. While some sources may offer valid advice, be wary of dubious offers, such as unverified medications from a Canadian pharmacy. Always consult your healthcare provider before trying any new treatment or medication, as they can provide you with safe and reliable options tailored to your specific needs.

i listen to meditation music or sleep and relaxation music. One of my recent favorites is rain and thunder it as soon as i feel like i am going into anxiety mode i turn on the thunder and rain here is one i recently started listening to https://youtu.be/4x1On_bhZnI hope it can help someone else

I practice deep breathing exercises and take short breaks from my daily tasks to clear my mind. I also try to prioritize my tasks and focus on one thing at a time to reduce feelings of overwhelm.
