They're ripping us off lol and if you have IGA there, they're even worse but supermarket wars are coming, prices will be very competitive in Aus

But any case that's why I go in the evening times when things get reduced on da clearance.

I learned a trick, hot food (like nuggets, chicken fingers, wedges) after 3 hours get reduced at Coles and after 4 hours they have to be tossed - but hey if I can get 10 cooked nuggets for $2.50 or less instead of $5.00 I'm happy
Random question, why is inside your houses colder than outside there?

I have never voted in my life and never intend to start
But they fine you if you don't vote, twice I got fined, once completely because my address was not listed correctly, and second because I had no idea about local council elections - this is years ago.

One fine reached $188 bucks, I got annoyed, but of course I paid it, stupid Fines Victoria, they give you zero lee way, "op you are fined, you pay, no exception".

Now they have these auto road cameras on the roads that detect if you're using your phone, or even holding it in your hand, and the infringements you get if you get caught, the problem is they're using AI to detect this and it's making a lot of mistakes.

Everything's become a money racket.

The mistake is having a phone behind the wheel.

People are only sorry when someone is killed or seriously injured by the idiot behind the wheel.

It's fine to have a phone with you, just don't fiddle with it or use it. If anyone gets caught and fined for using a phone while driving then they deserve whatever they get in fines and penalties.

teenager driving the latest craptastic hoopdy under $500. wasnt wearing their seatbelt was snap chatting and driving and rolled their car 10 times. it started it on fire. they were airlifted from the scene.

the fine for phone while driving is $150. parents claimed it was just $150. they could pay that.

teenager ran 3 red lights they were speeding and werent maintaining proper lanes and they clipped another car causing the roll.

sometimes fines dont work.

That would probably be dangerous driving here. That's a serious offence that carries penalties up to two years in prison, an unlimited fine, and a minimum one-year driving disqualification with a compulsory extended re-test. Play stupid games etc. etc.

Same deal as 20mph zones here. Saves lives.
And what about all the surveillance cameras, saves lives also? No it just stops thieves and of course sees everything you do, a 24 hour movie, on a loop, nonstop, "it's for your safety" yer, BULLOCKS.

And maybe giving people fines for not voting, yeah, forcing them to vote, saves democracy also, never mind that there is no "real" democracy anywhere, because as soon as you offend someone, the police are at your door in the UK, and in Australia, lol, they just silently investigate you - yer - democracy!

And paying over a half million to state leaders and PMs and then the public servants who are mostly only there to serve themselves, some of them are on 900k a year, golly gosh, whatever for? To sit in a chair wider than their arse, decision making all day, smiling at you, while laughing behind ya back - yer democracy, you wait, USSR has nothing for what is surely coming, trump or no trump, Starmer or no Starmer, independence or no independence, and the funniest thing a lot of people will accept the new system to come throughout the whole world - yer - everyone's bellies are kept and fed, no one will batter an eye - wotta shame and then we will all be "safe" oy, so safe, because criminal minds come from the fish of the sea, aha...,

Your rights and freedoms are subject to change at a drop of a hat, and your monies in your banks inaccessible and well, one day persona non grata - no pesos, no pounds, no dollars, just tokens, for us useless eaters, the paupers.

And you shan't eat any meat

Wotta Shame!

Did they investigate why you bought an admin position but didn’t vote?

Look up "Straw man fallacy" because that's what you just played.

There is empirical evidence that a 20mph impact on a child will cause far fewer severe (meaning life changing) injuries and fatalities than a 30mph impact. 20mph speed limits along with the speed bumps and other physical restrictions around school zones save lives.

Of course, your "right" to drive however fast you choose wherever you choose comes first eh?

Oh and where I live there are no CCTV systems.

I never enrolled to vote when I turned 18 so there is no record of me - I have never been fined or anything - I do get the random mail asking me to enroll but just throw it in the bin

I have no understanding why you can not just leave your phone alone while you are driving - I have seen people watching streaming while driving sitting next to them at the lights and when they are injured or injure others its a victim mentality - if you are caught cut a finger off at a time it will soon stop - its clear fines or removal of licence is doing jack all
