I accidently did this (female here no interest in engaging with aged restriction) which surprises me its allowed to happen both on forums and in the room. There are numerous rooms for 13 - 17 aged group why not keep them in those rooms instead of allowing them in other rooms which are clearly not appropriate for them.

The only rooms for adults who do not want to engage in sexual/adult content or gay chat is general and singles - general is full of pretend teens and a lot of pictures of both men/women who are barely covered, older men with younger sitting on their knees and constant flashing signs of sex/porn in the room.

Singles seems the only semi useable room at the moment for adults (no idea don't enter).

Where are the restrictions? So these forums/chat rooms so they cant interact with that age bracket?

At one time there were these things called forum rules. Not only were there a whole forum rules but each section had forum rules specifically for each section. A forum mod made them and updated them based on need. Teen, adults and kids also had a separate thread pertaining to age for forum use. In that thread it stated the penalty for repeated posting was a ban. Not only was it clearly marked in the special thread it was clearly marked in the title/ description of each forum in bold red font.

As a forum mod, you issued one warning. Usually in the form of a pm " hey you posted in an underage forum please stop" after that it was infraction, delete post/thread and ban. Didn't matter how many times they kept coming back. Their thread was gone and so were they.

Teens and kids were the only places that duplicate threads were allowed because having "post your face" in kids ment only kid's faces. And that left the "post your face" in regular picture forum for the adults. IT CUT DOWN ON A LOT KIDS/TEENS INVOLVING THEMSELVES IN FORUMS WITH MAINLY ADULTS.

The fact that these are now missing And threads are moved/allowed is a weakening of the safety system. And further points to c/as decline.

Considering the ruckus another user who was an adult posted there nothing happens to you. It seems you are protected by one of the UMS. Does this mean it is okay to post in teen forum if you are an adult igloo dwelling crab person with developmental disabilities? Yet you constantly bitch about mods and admins being unfair to you. While I usually agree with you, we respect each other enough to disagree and be open about it. The internet is filled with people who say things they'd never say offline. I deleted my Twitter when Elon made all forms of hate acceptable. There's so many people online who say things that they'd never say to the face of the person.

Theres a fat f*ck from Gen chat who uses women for money. He gets violent and drunk towards females. He spent an entire month doxxing me for criticizing him for begging for booze money he never paid back due to some idiot giving him money. He also assaulted his grandmother by throwing cans of Dr Pepper at his grandma. Best believe this dude is a pansy who will never amount to anything.

Also, the hurty words comment in question is because a gay adult male said “gayboy” to another gay adult male and he then said “as if it’s some sort of insult.”

Well clearly he was insulted because he went crying and reported it, and slyly deleted his original comment where I called him out. Thankfully my quote is still there but the spastic General Chat mod, naturally, blamed me when I dropped it. Waaaaaa waaaaa.

"Gayboy" made me laugh, I will not lie. When I used to play CoD with my cousin, she would get so mad that she'd call people the first word. She's a married lesbian now.

There are gay people who are hateful and refuse to accept their fait, they stay in the closet, which reminds me of this song. This was the 80s during a time when gay was considered a sin.

In fairness for that edit on my post, I think it was the link as I’ve scoured 3 times and can’t see anything removed unless I’ve gone even more blind. (I have my glasses on) I’d guess Who’s Laffin got a warning for potential doxing, but cannot confirm.

Funny how gayboy wasn’t edited on there confirming he did find it insulting and reported it 🤣💀 maybe they’d rather I say the cigarette alternative - I may get a notification informing me of those (unwarranted) edits. 👀

As for the word “gayboy”, it was not reported and it’s not specifically forbidden, but the way it was used in the post it was removed from seemed to be hateful and a slur. Gay slurs are not allowed to be used, even by people who are gay. In the same way that the N word is not allowed to used, even by people who are black.

Forums is cool because your speech doesn’t disappear in three minutes with the scroll. It’s there forever. If you say something stupid, someone will tell you about it and you’ll have to reckon with it (insofar as you have to reckon with just words anyhow).

I think that’s the ultimate goal of these soft hands having tech bros, just to be able to say whatever you want regardless of whether it’s true and not receive the left cross to the chin for it. What do I know though.

I have worked my butt off. But even if I don’t get it, I’m just gonna keep doing my job keeping sports safe from all the weirdos. While I’m still talking sports with all the regular users. I went to this room because i love sports and saw a problem that i felt like i could help fix.
