genuine question, as I keep getting this :


you've already been banned at least once for reaction harassment. its a petty way to go, but i'll turn it in again to make it stop.

*As you can see I'm trying to handle it like an adult. since we are neither friends, don't wish to be friends; wall postings and dm are out of the question. this thread seems like the logical place since I'm posting a message about a user. unsure if tagging is permitted , it doesn't not say it in the OP rules. @Kim is tagging allowed? to be safe I've left it out, as I want this to stop. so my post needs to be left so it can be seen.

I think it was HR Kwai Chang Stuff Puff that said reaction bombing is a no-no.

I’ve also had screenshots from others including the currently untagged user that reaction bombing is done to them too - and it tends to be done in a way that’s a pile-on (4/5 users against one). I’ll happily review screenshots of reaction bombing/harassment but in terms of Moderation actions, it will be a case of what’s good for the goose…

I've now told her to stop. and yet you as a moderator are refusing to stop her because she believes I am some how involved in others decisions. if you have the s/s then by all means review them . not one reaction from me recently. yet mine keep coming.

I’ve not said you’re part of it, I’m speaking more generally for anyone who’s interested in the issue, as it seems to flare up from time to time.

I’m also not refusing to do anything. All I’ve seen so far is a screenshot showing four reactions, which I don’t think is excessive.

For anyone reaction bombing other users, take this as a warning that it could be considered harassment and could lead to action being taken

not to worry. there's more. considering my post was a pleasant asking her I assumed she knew and would realize. but I'll be sure to bore the forums with long reacts next time instead of long cat.

Alrighty! now where have a heard this before, oh yeah it's a standard reply now isn't it.
Said user has been asked TWICE by me now to stop reacting and fk me i log in and the twat has done it again! I even changed my settings so it can't post stalk me , what part of NO does it not understand????

As it should be. If an argument is made that someone should be actioned for a particular type of behaviour then that should apply across the board, no?

You tagged the wrong user in the one I saw. You tagged @Princessa who hasn’t been seen since July. I thought it was a wind up tbh

Now everyone has been asked by me to stop spam reacting, hopefully that issue is put to bed but I’m happy to receive and review screenshots if it happens from now on, from anyone that’s a victim of spam reactions.

That’s with one exception though and I’ll take one for the team for anyone who has an urge to hit that emoji reaction - if anyone wants to spam react my posts, feel free.

Yes I have the same issue even with the twat on ignore - and I have never once reacted to anything that crank has posted - I find it beyond even reporting as (not blaming) its never stopped, it goes on an on an on and then its good for one good for another blah blah blah - some people are not involved in that and still have the nonsense thrown at them.

I wouldn’t find it quite as annoying if I didn’t wake up some mornings to reaction bombs to posts I made 6 months ago.

6 Months is that all ? you do well , try it searching back 3/4 YEARS to react, that is not normal behaviour.

mod(s) comes along and says its not.
TIME STAMP on the notifications confirms user isnt even reading the posts they are reacting to.
mod(s) still claims its not harassment.
mod(s) "puts everyone on notice" for why? others react AFTER theyve read the post and time stamps confirm that.

how can users be rays of sunshine when mod(s) continue to over look evidence?

It’s a public forum.

If you don’t want to reactions from the public, stop posting publicly.

evidence said user didn't even read the public posts and went on to harass via the reaction button.

surely you knew for regular users theres a 60 second wait time between actions on the forum. it is removed as part of the perks for orange members, and isnt required for moderators . so yes when I see 2 or more reactions In the same minute from the same user, I know they haven't actually read the post. and they're just scrolling down to add reactions as quick as they can. aka reaction harassment.

again I point out stuff against me and again no action will be taken. but I sure as hell will be actioned AGAINST when it's been pushed too far and I bite back.

i think going back 6 months or longer just to bomb someone with post reactions after that someone has asked specifically for the bomber to pls stop, is a form of harassment; maybe even a form of terrorism 🤷🏼‍♀️

its the same logic as bombing profiles on chats with gifts, likes, or friend requests; but the difference is ignoring the person bombing u on forums doesnt stop the pings, & the only way to stop the pings is to disable them entirely from everyone not just the person doing the bombing…

thats what makes it harassment babe, believe it ✌🏻

but what do i know??? im just an angel…

A timestamp tells you when a reaction happened. It doesn't automatically tell you what someone did or didn't read beforehand, and it certainly doesn't establish their intent. That's a conclusion you're making from the timestamp, not something staff can reasonably treat as proven fact.

If there's a pattern of someone deliberately going through old posts to bombard somebody with reactions after being asked to stop, then submit your screenshots and let staff review. That's the part we can actually investigate.

What we aren't going to do is start with a verdict and work backward until the evidence fits it.

If every situation becomes another round of “staff won't do anything,” while the same people are repeatedly engaging back and forth, eventually we're just watching the same episode with a different timestamp. This rerun has been running so long that we all know the dialogue by heart.

Bring the receipts and staff will handle it.
