Due to recent excessive abuse of username changing (such as cloning, kick/ban evading, inappropriate username, etc), we have decided to limit the ability for VIP users to change their usernames. We now require each username change to cost 2500 gold. Although this might be discouraging news to some, please understand that it was a necessary change.
To make up for that we have also given VIP users a faster rate to earn Gold. If you spend a couple hours a day inside the chat room, you should be able to make a username change in about 7 days. So, that is one username change every one or two weeks for the average user. If you require more frequent username changes than you will need to spend more time in the chat rooms or purchase extra gold separately. Recent beta tests have shown this to be an effective way to stop the abuse of username changes while still giving a very reasonable amount of username changes.

This username change option is only available to VIP users. If you want to change your username, you will need to first upgrade your account to VIP. To make the username change simply click the menu on the left (3 line icon on the top left corner) and scroll to the Change Username link to gain access to your username change request.
