Verification Email not being received

As with another post on here it appears the verification email is not being sent when creating a new account.
Confirmed the following already:
Email address is correct (and used in the past)
Checked inbox and junk/spam
Email address is a Hotmail email address
Attempted resend link three times.
Have sent normal email to the email address.

So created a gee mail account to be all cool and stuff and this has worked. Seems Microsoft has updated some of thier filters to stop the verification emails now but using gee mail worked.

@Ness_eb and @Samwise this can be closed.
