The title is moreso to get your attention, as I'm not calling out the efforts of staff by any means and actually give great praise to my former admin @Apollo , as well as the current mod team. However, as a majority of the VGC mod team already knows (as you've already had to help me in the past with this) I have an ongoing issue with a chatter whom keeps hurling racism&slander my way. They have continuously accused me of trolling, h**king them, said I have threatened to abuse them, etc. @MissMotive has personally helped me address these issues in the past by following protocol&room rules. Today I asked this user to please stop tagging me which has led to myself being accused of trolling&hate. I have made it blatantly clear that I simply wish for Kittensnowflake to leave me alone, and have been pressed over and over for a reason why. I finally have stated that it is because of the things she has said&continues to say, including once calling me the n word. She is now attempting to get the entire room to harass me, while she and user Sofij4 continuously belittle me. I am sick of the tags, messages, pms, etc. It is not working simply to ignore Kittensnowflake as she has others message and harass me.
Can this please be addressed? As a black man, I am feeling quite unsafe while her racism and harassment slide as she gets her group of friends together to make the chat experience miserable. Thanks.
 
Taco we love you. I hope you get this sorted, man! I know these people are annoying as hell and can make you want to avoid the room. Try not to let them get to you while the mods try and find a solution<3
 
VGC has strict rules on harassment and racism, best you take screenshots to help your case, with that being said I’ll keep an eye on this in the future. I’m sorry that VGC is being a hell hole and the mods try to make it better for all chatter. @MissMotive @LostCause. @Sean64 are some of the best mods I know and they’ll feel the same way.

You guys are literally my favorites. I've provided screenshots to @MissMotive in the past regarding this issue, as well as I have contacted you in the past about the same thing. Sadly, the issue has persisted and has been ongoing since before I was even a mod.
It seemed to be alright (as in, resolved) but now I see that when staff isn't present, the issue resurfaces.
 
This issue was dealt with I think, so the post can be closed unless @Apollo has anything to add.

I have received ss from you in the past, and have spoken directly with the chatter involved which lead to her leaving you alone for a period. I will of course talk to her again, in the meantime time- might I suggest you block her? You and she don’t get along and I can’t see you reconciling any time soon.

Hey @Taquito, thank you for your kind words about the mod / admin team. I personally don't recall seeing kittensnowflake harass you in the ways you listed on this post, however I do remember seeing you ask her repeatedly in chat the other day for her to leave you alone. @MissMotive is absolutely right that no one should be forced to endure these issues in chat, and I'm glad you brought them to our attention. I'm sure you've been encouraged to put her on ignore, but I understand why that might not work if other ******** are messaging you on her behalf. Thank you for for letting us know about this problem so we can keep a better eye out for it. I see no reason why she shouldn't block you and you block her if you have no will to engage with her in any way, and will suggest as much if I encounter an issue in chat, followed by additional consequences if harassment persists. Our mod team is a bit smaller than it's been in the past and I know there are lapses of no mods logged in, so be sure to use your report feature so we can address any issues when the next mod logs in.

I do block her. She often decides to change her name, doing the babysnowflake/kittensnowflake swap to be able to get her harassment to come through. I've very politely asked to be left alone (as you know) but definitely have had it as of today. It's really not alright that she's playing victim, acting like she hasn't done this, all while she has her "friends" pming me threats&hate. My pms are back to private, of course. This is just becoming a big pain in the ass, quite honestly. As most of you know I have an incredibly hectic life&come to vgc to diffuse.

I find it really childish that this has been brought back up out of nowhere and...for what? Nobody gains a damn thing out of myself being harassed lol.

Who is calling you a liar? Sure, screenshots help, but @SouporMan is unfortunately right that our hands are often tied unless there is an active issue. A screenshot from a few months ago wouldn't result in a mute or kick now. However you bringing our attention to an issue that is happening now helps us be more aware and responsive to it in the present. In the example I listed earlier, I saw you ask kittensnowflake several times for her to leave you be, and I believe I asked you both to put each other on ignore, but I didn't really understand the extent of the problem. Knowing the back story from this thread helps give the mods a better idea of what they're looking at when you two interact, and we'll be a lot more responsive to shut it down going forward.
 
It's currently happening lol. And now sofij4 claims she never said anything to me, same with kittensnowflake. Like can I chat in peace yet or
 
The racism is an issue in there. It's mostly the n-word being used by white boys trying to come off as edgelords and disrupt chat. At this point, do you really need to be told you cannot use the n-word? It's the worst slur you can use given its history and if you think it's fine to use it, you don't belong on this site.

Every other website lists it as an offense. If I went on the Bluebird app and posted it, I'd be suspended for a week, FB as well.

@Apollo I realize you make the rules but I also hope you see my logic in that this racism needs to go. Though other rooms warn for the N word before muting, in Gen chat it's an instant mute. I think more rooms should implement certain slurs being an instant mute like the gay slur that starts with an F.

Last weekend we had an issue with people trolling Johnny (I can't tag him for some reason) and knowing he couldn't do anything because the Swastikas were half drawn.
