VIP disappeared

I was incarcerated and not on for about 2 years, since 2022. I don't think there is anything that says it could be removed if inactive for so long, but either way, I was wondering if it is possible to regain my VIP status now that I am back? I know it's not your fault I was gone but I don't think it's right if I had a "lifetime" VIP status that didn't last a lifetime.

I think "lifetime" means the life of the account- not the user.

This is going in circles https://forum.chat-avenue.com/threads/vip-disappeared.949287/#post-1307040 enjoy the last word.
No, it means lifetime. Services that are offered with "lifetime" like a warranty, are based on the owner. Stop trying to twist things into things they're not.

Furthermore, most mods and admins (including yourself) tell users without vip who've had their accounts deleted, that unless you purchase VIP, the accounts automatically get purged by the system for inactivity.

Paying for something labeled "lifetime" and losing it in two years is a scam. No where does it say "purchase a lifetime VIP but you must log in periodically or it will be deleted". That's probably one of the many reasons Stripe pulled their services from this site.

"#1 Chat Avenue reserves the right to terminate a VIP membership at its sole discretion." - TOS

"If you do not log into your account for 3 months or more, we also reserve the right to terminate your VIP account." section 14 TOS

I'm simply pointing out the agreement we all accept while using this site.

Is that on the VIP purchase screen though, or the forums?

OP, remember, regardless what anyone here says... It's your credit card company that will decide. 🙂
Well it was a genuine purchase? Nobody here forced him to pay for VIP. He/she did it on their own volition.

Your comment is as superfluous your contribution to providing carbon monoxide to the trees.

No one is arguing that it isn't a genuine purchase. The user purchased it genuinely. What the user may not be getting is their fair understanding of the purchase as a result of false advertising or premature closure of the account despite users being told to purchase VIP to avoid being removed. Regardless, as I've mentioned a couple of times already, it's not up to us to interpret what the credit card company or processor deem as the correct course of action. Not even the site itself can deem that without an arduous appeal process.

so you have two concerns then?

1. #1 Chat Avenue, in your view and some others, are not properly indicating to users that their VIP can be removed without warning.

2. Credit Card company can decide if a refund can be processed.

Oh, those aren't my concerns at all as I'll never spend money here.

That said, the user might be concerned with the fact that the terms of his VIP weren't clearly stated and/or followed. Additionally, it is absolutely the credit card company that can decide whether or not to provide a refund to the user. No concern there either.

lol so why reply to this thread if you have no concerns? you obviously have issues or an issue with this site.

lol open up!

if it was a visa...the OP has yet to die, meaning they have yet to use up the lifetime portion of the membership.

... had it happen to me on a window that the seal went bad in 9 months. that had a lifetime replacement. had to take it all the way up. A lawyer suggested a charge back then get a new window.

credit card companies want to retain their base especially if theyre continuing to charge.
