VR: Top games, general discussion

This is a general discussion thread on VR

What are your top VR games, honorable mentions, or games that get you motion sick??

Beat saber, job sim, H3VR, Alyx, Boneworks. Skyrim/fallout vr gave me motion sickness, boneworks did after awhile too. Alyx is pretty much the only polished AAA experience so far. Gorn and blade & sorcery are fun but VERY brutal, like, i had bad dreams about them for a bit. They are also pretty dangerous if your play space is small.

I like all the games Maya mentioned, they are all excellent. I’d like to add the Star Wars: Vader series. I grew up being a Star Wars fan as a kid and seeing Darth Vader walk up to me in VR, intimidating me with his lightsaber drawn was an experience I don’t think I’ll ever forget. It’s for Quest 2 and comes in 3 parts.

Id like to get into VR, its something Ive never got to try yet so what would be the best VR system to get? There at least a few to choose from, right? I think lol

I would say try it before you buy, if you get motion sickness easily it would be a lot of money to waste.

Surprised no-one mentioned No Man's Sky.

So I'll say umm... No Man's Sky???

GTA Vice city
World of Minecraft
World of Tanks
Super Mario
Call of Duty
Those are the most popular games of all the times in my opinion. Are those the best games ever made then? I have a huge doubt about it. It all actually depends on people's likings. I love horror games for example and enjoy playing Poppy Playtime on this site. My favorite phone games are world and scrabble , might seems boring for some people but I really enjoy it.
"World of Minecraft"
Cmon bro

New to VGC so a bit delayed but here are a couple of VR games I tried this year that haven't been mentioned yet:

Zenith: The Last City - VRMMORPG, Early Access
PavlovVR - "Social" FPS
VailVR - "Tryhard" FPS, Alpha

Then VRChat if I'm feeling social or looking for a workout in VR

Re: motion sickness, 99% of people suffer from it when trying VR for the first time - my biggest tip is practice, practice, practice.
Start with 5 - 30 mins a day and eventually you'll build up to it just fine 🙂 Unless you play MinecraftVR of course lol

Currently, it's a dry spell with VR headsets but Quest 2 remains on top for beginners, should have more news end of this year/beginning of next.

Always looking for more people to enjoy VR with, so if you have any questions or looking for people to play with, hmu 🙂

Cool.

The Horizon Zero Dawn franchise is getting a VR game within the next couple of years but for now my favorites are:

Subnautica
Skyrim
Moss Books 1 and 2
