Was banned for being 17

Got banned for being 17, while the rules state that "By entering sex chat, you agree to be at least 18 years of age or older (the age of majority)."

i mean i was just messing around, which is what u do in online chats. The only reason i care is bec i met some rlly cool ppl that i would like to keep talking to

i mean i get it, but im almost 18 anyway. I turn 18 in a couple of months, but if i dont get unbanned it is what it is. Just a shame i cant talk to the ppl i met.

You may be able to work something out with the admins. If you really are turning 18 in a few months, they may be able to unban you when you officially turn 18. The people who you met, should still have an account when you get unbanned. - Also if the people you were talking too knew you were 17 they can get banned for engaging with an under aged user when they know that isnt allowed. (That may be untrue, I'm not fully sure).

I can remember the years I was 17. I was playing soccer and hanging out with my friends. Not hanging out on a chat room that was made for adults, also social media wasn't allowed in my parents house 😐😑 - To be honest, go live your life while your still a teen.

You’re correct but unless the OP told them they were 17 and the other user acknowledged that and kept chatting, it’s hard to prove what people know or don’t know in their minds.

i mean i do go out and play soccer aswell, its just for when im at home
 
What blows my mind is that, why tf would you go into a sèx chat at 17.

Lack of parenting right there.

I mean I've done what OP did, I was young and dumb and not a moderator yet. Was it smart? No. Do I regret it? Sorta.

But OP, it is our (actually, it's Sex Chat Moderators' in this case, I can bite dust) jobs to keep you safe. You very well may be turning 18 soon, but until you do, you are likely a minor and that means we have to ensure anyone over 18 doesn't try to solicit you for anything sexual.

What you did was typical of anyone your age, yeah. But we have to protect ourselves, you, and our other ********. With that I'll piss off to my own rooms' forum, I'm certain Sex Chat Admin will do whatever would be right given any amount of information I definitely don't have.
