Wearing white to a wedding.

Is it ever ok to wear white if you're not the bride? I have a relative getting married soon for the third time she will be wearing peach. Do you think I could get away with wearing a white dress if I make it look very unbridal with bright shoes, belt and other accessories or is it a total no go zone?

white wedding ?

white wedding ?

Supposedly.. NO one BUT the bride is supposed to wear white... but there are NO rules in fashion anymore... bridal or otherwise.. so wear your outfit and have a good time... as for brides wearing white.. ive been married 3 times and havent worn white yet... 😀

Of course you can wear white dress, I've done that few times on weddings too!! Didn't feel awkward at all, it's not like you're wearing wedding gown 😛 Its just a simple dress 😀

White is a color of purity. If you were to wear it at a wedding I don't see what the biggest problem would be?

Thanks all. I've found a pretty purple jacket I could wear over it so I feel a little more comfortable with that idea.

I actually did look this up in a few other places and on one bridal forum 86% of people that voted on a poll said they wouldn't wear White.

Nothing wrong in wearing white to a wedding ,
As long as you're not overshadowing the bride there's no problem but don't be a fantail pigeon on that special occasional. 😛
