Alright 2 weeks in the book already!

Some shockers to end Week 2... Cowboys getting blown out, Eagles choking the game away with a very brutal Barkley drop then a terrible 90 seconds of defense, Chase costing the Bengals with his unhinged behavior vs the Chiefs, some very surprising 2-0, and even more surprising 0-2 teams…

Well, it was only his 2nd NFL game so I don’t think you can read too much into it. That said, he didn’t perform very well. The 2 picks could definitely have been avoided. And if the Bears don’t do something about the O line, it’s going to start feeling a lot like Justin Fields 2.0. It’s going to take time for him to get comfortable reading defenses, going through his receiver progressions, dealing with defensive pressure etc. As an over rated QB once said, everyone needs to R-E-L-A-X 😂

Just remember, a lot of QB’s who went on to become NFL greats had rough rookie years. Brett Favre’s first NFL pass was a pick six. Troy Aikman was 0-11 as a rookie starter. Js
 
idk why people are shocked about the eagles/ falcons. its like no ones seen cousins play, ever. his 2 mins of play at the end of the 4th quarter is legendary, it goes all the way back to HS. he doesn't even start his semi best work until the clock hits 4 mins.


as for week 3. imma kick a$s this week in my fantasy. Campbell knows better than do them dirty that town would shiv him but if he's lied about amon ra he better watch his street tacos too... they'll really be after him.

Thats Cousins though in a nutshell... Hes a good QB then comes out of nowhere with a massive game winning drive like that every few games, sometimes they are game winning drives like vs the Eagles, other times its just a mid game drive that has no out come on the final LOL. If he did that more often, and in the playoffs, hed be a legit superbowl contender.

Lets be real though... If the Eagles melt the clock away a bit better and Saquon makes that easy catch to get the 1st down, Cousin's doesnt get to make that hero drive. They blew that game more than Falcons won it.

Common... Campbell cant help himself sometimes! He is a good coach, has those Lions playing very elite, but he makes Hero decisions at the wrong time. When they work, hes a genius, when they dont... well cost them last year in the playoffs and cost them last week.

Im going to quote this and see how that fares come Jan. no one not even life time Detroit fans thought he could get them to poop in a group. if hero decisions is what gets them going, hero decisions it will be.

Drock he threw for a million yards while going to college here and then when he transferred he won the Heisman and threw for a million more yards. However he has always seemed smallish. He does well when not rushed he has good field reads and is a threat with his wheels but I think he is not quite big enough to have a long term career. When he starts having 300 yard passing, 100 yard rushing games with 5 touchdowns and no interceptions then I will change my mind. He is not horrible but a potential bust in comparison to some of the others like Jaylen Daniels etc.

That is an excellent, and I feel accurate report on Caleb. No doubt he has talent, all of these players and kids coming from College have loads of skill and results from their time there. The process now is transitioning over to the NFL. As one analyst says, in College you can get away with alot of "hero" ball, running out of the pocket with less pressure, making crazy throws and not having them picked, ect ect... NFL is a different beast they have to get used to, and he may or may not! 2 weeks so far, have def been humbling, and I feel he deserved said humbling.
They have 3 very favorable matchups over Week 3-6. If he can adjust to his strengths and what will work more at this level, and get some good results, then he should do well.

I look at CJ Stroud last year. Didnt start well either, but WOW as the season progressed, he adjusted, found what worked, and he was outstanding by year end.

I think calling him a potential bust after only 2 NFL games is jumping the gun a bit lol but I do agree with the rest of the assessment. I just hope people give him time to adjust and more importantly that the Bears surround him with the talent he needs to succeed. We shall see……..

Agreed, hes not a bust. Not a generational talent in those 2 games as was projected by outsiders and himself... He will have the next 3 games against much more manageable opponents, to show if he can survive at the NFL level.
 
Well in one of the most exciting games of the season 🤣, the Jets down the Pats with ease. Rodgers looked dialed right in!

Folks around here, hope he busts, we are sill p.o. that he went with stinkin Lincoln to USC. He may get better. My main concern is his size. Bryce Young another Heisman a bit on the small size also having a difficult time playing pro ball.

3 and 0 for the Chiefs Ladies and Gentlemen! The stats line may not be grade A, but cant argue with the record! Also 3-0 the Seahawks and Steelers! Bills can potentially go 3-0 tonight and set the Jags 0-3. Which is more likely??

Again, after a Sunday, some very surprising results..
Cowboys not showing any pulse until 10 minutes left (may have been even less than that) but they did knock a 65 yard FG and the first recovered onside kick with the new rules, that was pretty cool!

I cant argue with you too much on that tbh... Falcons had their shots and didnt capitalize! Mahomes scored enough points to control the game... That turnover at the end of the first half that gifted the Chiefs 3 was huge, esp with Chiefs getting the ball in the second half and they score right away, didnt really trail after that.
That huge stop by Bolton on 4th and goal, gotta give that to the Chiefs.

Bengals are fighting back right now... I am shocked at how good the Washington Football team is! This Jayden Daniels is really good!

So Week 3 ends with two more 0-3 teams... Wow. Bengals and Jags really didnt think theyd start this bad. On the flip side, Bills are cooking with some serious heat right now, Allen is as sharp as always.

The Washington Football Commander Team... Wow, im impressed. Jayden Daniels is for real and that team is playing some good football!
