What is your traditional or favourite Christmas dishes and snacks? I have a strange mix of Aussie and Filipino foods on our menu.

We usually have an Aussie-Filipino Christmas barbecue on the patio with garlic prawns, lamb chops, chicken adobo, pochero, potato salad, pancit, lumpia, palabok, tossed salad and mountains of rice.

Snacks include potato chips, dips, Jatz crackers, bagnet dipped in sukang Iloko and lastly cocktail onions, cubes of cheese & sliced kabana skewed on toothpicks.

We do have eggnog (cold, non alcoholic) and soft drinks (soda) a booze for the adults. A lot of our food and drinks are served cold, as it can be up to 40°C or 104°F on a Christmas Day here.

Turkey, meatloaf. Brussel sprouts. Ham, bread rolls.. stuffing, potatoes garlic bread, cranberries cinnamon Coco! And normal butter unlike someone I know with fancy butter in the shape of a bird!!!

Sounds delicious Pinky!
My family usually does a mixture of Australian Christmas and traditional European food if we go all out for Christmas
There's often fresh seafood like prawns and scallops, potato salad, baked glazed ham, roast vegetables, salads, chicken or turkey, trifle, plum pudding.
We commonly have snacks out like mixed nuts, cheese, dips and crackers, potato chips, lollies.
Backyard cricket or a dip in the pool are common, or just beers around a firepit. Australian Summer Christmases are definitely their own vibe!

Get on my bread, turkey butter!

Some traditional Christmas treats include roasted turkey or ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and Christmas pudding or cake, however, there are numerous cultural variations. Eggnog, hot chocolate, and gingerbread cookies are popular foods. You can try offers by some offer-giving company to enjoy amazing Christmas treats.
