So the same mod who I’ve had to report to glob multiple times justifiably, and was fed excuses like “I’ll talk to him” and “sure he did that but he’s only human” is now appointed the new admin? The same mod who the chat knows often acts tone deaf or dense when racist trolls run rampant in main and responds with “I don’t see it”, “I don’t care”, or “I don’t rlly care about race”. the same mod who called me “COLORED” and acted confused to its racist origins (glob has seen the ss) and never apologized for the harm it caused.the same mod who said he was fine with gay/trans people as long as it wasn’t being “taught” or “forced on him”….
Who does one report to when the person causing them harm is the one in power. who is going to keep that person in check if that’s even the plan
Respectfully, I think this decision was a huge mistake and serves as a big slap in the face for all the harmful things he’s said and perpetuated during his time as mod. I strongly feel (and others) that there are other mods who are much more deserving of the position than the one chosen. Literally ANY of the other mods would do this role more justice than the one who immediately leaves the room when things get bad.
