What is a reputation comment?

I use mobile to access the forums and rooms. Ive gotten maybe two reputation comments but I cant see anything about them. What exactly are they?

Users can rep each other, it can be positive or negative. It's what makes your bar under your user name green or red. You usually rep users from a post within a thread.

People don't always leave a comment with a rep. You should at least see a link to your post that was repped though.

Forums is buggy with mobile users some settings do not work.
