What is the last movie u watched

Not really a fan of movies, ha.

I blame my Missus.

Her favourite movies are 'Titanic' and 'The Notebook'.

She has both on 'Permanent Save'.

We have, I calculate, watched both 346562345628365826354623658623864252634 times.

I quip that I know each of the snow-geese in 'The Notebook' by name.

But worse is that although she knows my top Commandment is The2Game shalt share his food never she is of the belief that whenever we're watching a film either on our couch or in a theatre/theater that Commandment doesn't apply and she is somehow 'allowed' to eat my nibbles or 'have a sip' of my coffee or my beverage.

Kingsman: The Golden Circe 8/10. I love this franchise. Julianne Moore wasnt too great as the psychotic villain but the movie was awesome. Just as the first.

The Lethal Weapon franchise is a classic too! So much so, I couldn't buy into the TV re-boot. It just didn't compare, even though it was well done and well received!
 
Halloween (1978) The score is a classic! The movie is a classic!

Annabelle: Creation - some good scares but nothing that got me out of my chair. I think the 6.9 IMDB rating is close to the mark for this one...
 
Happy Death Day. This is a fun movie and very well done. Right up there with the original Groundhog Day. Well done to writer Scott Lobdell and producer Jason Blum who runs Blumhouse Productions. These guys are taking horror to a totally different level and to make it fun is all the more better!!
 
1922: A Netlfix original FLOP! Was expecting something so much better for a Stephen King novella. Instead it was depressing and slow. Don't bother!

Iron Man with the kids. Taking them through the whole 'Avengers' timeline as they've only seen bits and pieces. The other day I saw the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and it was nuts! Can't wait until May next year!!

American Assassin. One of the better movies I've seen in 2017. Dylan O'brien is an impressive young actor and Michael Keaton just gets better with age!

Did the same with 'House Of Cards' - can't wait to see how they write Spacey's character out. Assassination? Lame, eh? I'd go for something really out-of-the-box ... resignation after a sex scandal, heh heh.

Got through Seasons 1&2 of Vikings before and haven't checked House of Cards yet been getting stuck in movie classics 60s-80s

Computers - and movie-sharing servers like 'Netflix' - have a lot to answer for!

I want to see some classic earlier movies - 'Casablanca', 'Citizen Kane', 'Gone With The Wind', eg - that rather incredibly I have never seen...
 
Kingsman: The Golden Circle - very good for a sequel! Elton John is a crack up and the re-mix of Word Up by Cameo (one of my fav. 80's tunes) was awesome!

The Mountain Between Us was absolutely brilliant! So well directed, and the chemistry between Winslet & Idris Elba was electric!

I usually get given a book of movie passes by a long-term family friend as a Chrissie pressy.

Was doing an online search of what our local theatres are offering in the coming few months and have put date reminders into my PC for:

Ferdinand - animated comedy. Will ask little Harv next door if he wants to take me. This achieves two ends - he gets to see a movie (almost certainly accompanied by a side of popcorn and Coke) and I get to see a kiddy-orientated film with no-one thinking 'He's a bit old for this, isn't he?'
Darkest Hour - War biopic focussing on Churchill early in World War II
Game Night - Comedy murder mystery
The Party - Dinner party game mystery
The Leisure Seeker - Road trip drama starring Helen Mirren,

(We can go any day except Saturday March 3 - that's the date of the Third Cricket ODI at our stadium (10 minutes walk away!) between New Zealand (Insert cheers here) and England (Boo! Hiss!)...

Friends are 50:50 on opinions re the new Star Wars so I will hold fire on that until a) the crowds for it thin out a bit and b) Jaynie has a 'Hmmm, maybe I can surprise him with 'The Notebook' or 'Titanic' tonight' expression on...

The horror, eh?

DVD release dates web site keeps me up to date with what I've missed at the movies. Saving The Last Jedi to enjoy on the BIG screen. Will be seeing Black Panther at the movies (15th Feb) - the last Marvel installment before Avengers: Infinity War. The latter of which I am frothing at the mouth see!
 
well unusually i havent watched a movie tonight but i did watch a totally cool documentary on the bbc web site its awesome its called (bbc natural world-jungle hospital) 2016 was awe some perfect for all the family

afterlife-starring liam neeeson christina ricci and justin long (a deffo 10 out of 10) i highly recommend this movie i was glued to my seat the whole time the twist at the end is awesome i wont spoil it for ya

3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - 9/10. - a MUST watch. Deserves all the golden globe noms it received. Great acting by McDormand as usual and Sam Rockwell and great story!

Only watched half of the The Terminal last night before I crashed. Just finished it off. Now I remember why I loved this movie so much when I first saw it 13 years ago. I also forgot how beautiful Catherine Zeta-Jones is! Now I'm going to watch 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri...
