Love foreign movies. Especially creepy ones! One of my streaming services has a world movies section that I really should pay more attention to...again, so much content, so little time...
 
The 15:17 to Paris - this is an unusual movie in that it is a true story and the actual guys in real life play themselves (never seen that before), which also explains why the acting was a bit average. Overall, even though it takes a while to reach the punchline (so to speak), not a bad movie. Also directed by Clint Eastwood.

Side note: Whenever I see a movie that shows people traveling (Europe in this instance), kinda makes me wanna cash up, put all my shìt in storage and go backpacking.

Girl on a Train, for a second time. I must have been distracted the first time I saw this film, but the second time, it all made sense. It's pretty good, dark, but good. The acting is awesome.

Unsane. Thanks Kelz! Really enjoyed this. There is an unusual cameo from Matt Damon in this. Another interesting note (after noticing that the screen ratio wasn't 16:9) is that the film 'was shot on an iPhone 7 Plus in 4K using the app FiLMiC Pro'. That's not why it isn't in 16:9, but Steven Soderbergh who shot, edited, and directed the movie, likes to try new and different shìt apparently - Source: wìkipedia

Johnny got his gun (1971). This is the movie that Metallica’s One is based on. Found it on Kodi. Interesting fact about this movie is that Metallica bought it so they wouldn’t have to pay royalties for every time the video clip airs or in today’s terms, is clicked on...
 
OK, I know it's a little ironic or perhaps a bit cliche because Vampires are the running joke where I'm from. :lol: Please don't laugh when I say we watched the film "Van Helsing" last night. I mean Hugh Jackman and OMG the breathtaking Kate Beckinsale, how can anyone not want to see these two beauties perform?
 
Predestination (2014). A time travel movie starring Ethan Hawke who was doing some really good work in the horror/thriller genres a few years back. This one is mind-blowing and a really good watch!

Just watched the trailer. Looks really, really good. DVD release is set for July 31st. Shouldn't have much trouble finding a rip on Kodi though...thanks Kelz!
 
Sweet Virginia. Good movie, but the ending is subjective and open to interpretation. Doesn't drag thank god. Stars John Bernthal (The Punisher, Walking Dead). Rosemarie DeWitt has a support role, who I've always found sexy AF!
 
Midnight Sun. Very good for a teen movie. This one's a bit of a tear-jerker. It got me at the end. Bella Thorne (The Babysitter & You Get Me - both Netflix movies) is such a cutie and Patrick Schwarzenegger looks a lot like his dad!
 
Disobediance - Rachel Weisz & Rachel McAdams. This is a really good watch!

Like Father - A Netflix Original Movie. Kristen Bell (such a cutie) and Kelsey Grammer play their parts well. A fun sweet movie. Makes me want to go on a cruise! Nice to see KG smiling in a role. If anyone here saw him in Boss, he was scary AF!

Also wondering if anyone has seen Veronica Mars, the TV show and Movie from 2014?

And finally I watched a 50 minute doco called 'Westall '66, A Suburban UFO Mystery' from 2010. Never knew about this until I read an article about it and saw the doco listed on Amazon Prime, but this is actually the Primary School I went to for 4 years. Tripped me out as I am a believer in UFO's (not necessarily alien abductions however) and it happened so close to a place I once called home!

A place called 'The Grange' not far from the school is also featured. I spent so much time there exploring trails and hanging out. We used to spend the whole day there mucking about...

Wasn't sure who Fran Drescher was, so I looked her up. She's very pretty, but that "Oh my Gawd, New Yawk" voice! LOL However, I'm sure they say that about my broken English when I visit!

Tully (Thx Kelz!) - Great movie. Charlize Theron is amazing as the lead in this one! Mackenzie Davis is a great support. Really enjoying her in Halt & Catch Fire and good to see her in something different.
 
Isle of Dogs (2018) - not to be confused with the 2011 movie of the same name. This one's a bit different (It's a stop-animation film for starters). Recommend watching the Trailer first...

Watched the trailer...and I'm sold! In the mood for a decent horror, so I'm gonna try and find this after dinner...(was going to to watch Deadpool tonight, but that can wait)

Gifted - Awesome watch!! Chris Evans is great in this (good to see him in roles other than Captain America and he has come along way since Not Another Teen Movie). Young Mckenna Grace is equally spectacular!
