What is your most favourite and least favourite thing about Chat Avenue?

My favourite thing is the diversity. There are users from almost every country and area of the world and it's cool to meet people and learn new things about their countries.

My least favourite thing about Chat Avenue is all the bots and spammers that constantly flood the rooms.
 
My favorite thing would have to be the friends I’ve made throughout the years. 💜

My least favorite thing is the spammers. It’s gotten to the point where it’s all anyone talks about in General Chat when there are no mods to keep them at bay. You could spend every moment ignoring people and get nowhere. If guests must be allowed, at least give actual members or VIPS their own room so they can hold a conversation and enjoy the site.

This makes me laugh - it cycles like this all the time and I love reading the comments it makes me laugh.

I have enjoyed the forums more than I have enjoyed the rooms - even though its a very small crowd there is more laughs, less wading through the vile predators

Yeah, one of the few things I’m glad about.
I definitely prefer forums to the rooms. Less bots, less preds to deal with, and I’m not responsible for containing the idiocy of foolish fools.
I pity the forum admins tho
 
I actually really like this question.

My favorite thing about Chat Avenue is probably the people. For all of the frustrating parts that exist, there are still genuinely good people here who make the community worth all of the effort of helping to run it. I've watched people from different walks of life make friendships, find their little “corner” of the site, come back years later, and become part of the community in ways they probably never expected.

My least favorite thing is - without question - the constant battle with spam, bots, and the people who come here with the intention of causing harm. It can be incredibly frustrating, especially when those things drown out the people who are actually here to chat and enjoy themselves.

I do think threads like this are a good reminder that Chat Avenue is much bigger than the problems we spend our time dealing with. As staff, we naturally see a lot of the worst of it because that's what gets brought to our attention. It's easy to forget that underneath all of that, there are still a lot of people here who genuinely enjoy this place.

It’s definitely not perfect, and there’s always a running list of things we’d all like to see improved, but if it were all bad - none of us would still be here.

The good parts are still there, you just have to remember to look for them. 🫶🏻

Some of my favorite things and least favorite things about chat ave are the following below.

I like having class. Kindness is free. I do not like that there is so much hate on here. I do not like the middle finger up.


Someone a long time ago but me a VIP pass for me on forums. Thank you kindly. I did not have to spend any money for a VIP for myself. I know who but the vip pass for me because he told me he did. I have had a vip on here for a very long time many years. That is cool to be a VIP on chat ave.

I have met many great friends and new friends. I like meeting people and chatting.

It is a blessing to be alive.

I like fairness.

I like whenever everyone can get along with each other.

I like meeting folks ALL over the globe on chat ave. So cool!

I like learning from others. I can learn from others. I like to read what others say. I like that I can click on the ignore key. I like that I do not have to speak to everyone on here. LOL!

I can join a chat room. For my age group. The correct age group for myself.

I like wishing others Happy Birthday on their birthday, and or sending them flowers on here.

There are some really great folks here and some not great to be honest.

I like helping others.

I am not perfect, but I sure do my best as a human being. We ALL make mistakes throughout our lifetime and learn from our mistakes. I do not keep repeat a mistake. I learn and I move on.

I liked that I was a mod once and once is enough. I would never mod again. Please do not ask me to mod again. Thanks! 🙂

I do not like others that bully or troll or people clone others. I do not like others that make fun of special need folks, or anyone in a wheelchair or any kind of disability. Please do not make fun of them at ALL. That is heartbreaking, sad, and cruel to make fun of others. I do not like the bashing other folks either. Some folks on here are very toxic and very mean to others on here. Do not make fun of anyone with mental health either. I do not like that some others make fun of others with different conditions. It is flat out wrong.
Please do not make fun of others.

I do not like the hate speech, and I do not like racisms. I do not like catfish either.

I do not like the people who prey on kids.

If you do not like me that is okay. I am not here on chat ave for a popular contest.

Some polls are okay and some polls on here I do not like at ALL.

I am not a fan of rude and disrespectful folks.

Always love yourself. I love GOD 1st and I love myself. I like some threads on here and some threads are actually terrible.

I do not like pedos.
