What made you smile today ?

Having my tetanus, whooping cough, diphtheria, Hep A and typhoid vaccinations ready for my trip, when the nurse calls me brave for having needles. I told her she was sweet and had a giggle at the needless soothing like I was a 3 year old girl. Darn, I shoulda asked for a lollipop. Only 7 more needles to go.

South America - Columbia, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina - down in the bowl/jungle. (Don't really need too much for Chile or the mountains there).

Just had my Yellow fever today. The rest I do there.
Hep B (2 separate needles)
Rabies (3 separate needles)
Hep A (Final shot at 6 months leaves you covered for life)
Malaria tablets when there (Hope you didn't get the weekly ones, they mostly lead to paranoia and stuff with your head 😉 )

Where are you off to?

What made me smile - International license done.

Coming back in here after months, seeing a certain face and realizing they still annoy the crap out of me. Some things never change

Lots of high risk places there.
Funny how they do things different in different countries, initially for the Caribbean we only needed 3 shots, and just had the booster. But those 3 covered everything, sod having all those needles in your arm :shock1:
Anti malaria cost a small fortune! We take them a week before we go, one a week whilst there and for a month on return. The daily ones make you sick etc 😉.
Decided against rabies as we are staying in a 5* resort so im hoping the patrol keep any mad dogs out 😉
Caribbean again for us, the 10 hour plane journey kills but all worth it in the end.

OT: Washing summer clothes in Autumn and realising my Vac isn't that far away now 🙂

...actually I've chuckled bout this since yesterday:QUOTE=Administrator]Greetings,
Congratulations! You've just earned the Achievement The Popular One!
(guess I should send big blue a pic of da custom utility belt filled wit portable fire extinguishers to keep my butt from gettin lit up cruisin da ave)

That every day is a confirmation that I really have found my 'one'. He is a pain in the arse sometimes and I am a pain in his arse sometimes but he is the only person I respect and will never utter the words 'Fuck off' too and for me, that speaks volumes.

Doesn't mean I don't bloody think it though. 😀
