what was the one good thing that happened to you today

my daughter is improving faster than expected and making awesome progress and she said... daddy ty for being a good dad made my day 🙂
 
I am all dressed resplendantly to go to my grandson Nathans party 4 years old ! I have mucho dineros in a card and a couple of toys ..plus toys for matt and katherine too :sly: can't leave those lil munchkins out ..

congratulations .. I know your daughter will have a speedy recovery .. she really does have a very wonderul dad :rose for your little girl . :kissing:
 
Got my new debit card, and unlike last time, I don't have to do a marathon of phone calls, requests for more cards and pissing around trying to match the new pin to the card I'm supposed to be using; at least, I hope. Haven't tried out the new card yet but the letter said the pin would be the same and it was activated in September. Finger crossed :/
 
everything was good today. nice and sunny, got my work finished with no broken bones and had pizza for supper. a rare Friday for me.
 
- Getting asked to judge a team of irish footballers back-sides at the train station this morning :lol:.
- Catching up with a few people.
- Getting drunken with kate.

9am - Tea party

11am - Daddy-o with flowers for me!

11.30am - Roast lamb in the Irish Pub complete with Irish people with their cute Irish accents.

1.30pm - Home again. Home again jiggidy jig.

2pm - :quiet:

3pm - Study Group call? Bah ha ha.
 
And just went you think your night cant get better, you find your trainer and business mentor, the woman you have conversations with, making National Headline News.

Managed to get out for a walk (always a positive for me at the moment!)
Got some really nice photos to upload to my galleries
Had a great conversation
Sharing fish & chips for lunch and getting bought to a hot chocolate :shy:
Caught up with my cousin and made her smile with something I'm putting in the mail for her
Catching up with an old school friend and making plans for a coffee date to see her and her baby daughter
There's loads more - it's been a brilliant day!!

one good thing

After staying up all night working on it .. we finally got the transmission in my husbands truck working ! nice to have a mechanic in the family 😀
 
Oh bath and shower were bliss. 😱 Plus being able to eat more than half a sandwich or banana for the first time in days. Nothing worse then being starving hungry and not wanting to eat at the same time.
 
Waking up in bed with Tanya and AF, and getting a cup of coffee and some breakfast made for our poor little hungover souls.

Woke up to a bigggg snuggle from my baby.
Granted, it's because she was scared/sad. But still.
Nice way of waking up when you disregard the reasoning.​
 
I went to the salon and had some things done 😛:lol: you feel so good when you get stuff done to you.. lol.. Oh yeah I did colors and skin care and make up for years .. so i gave myself a good facial and put some make up on wore my jewelry and I felt all duded up :lol:

I wore my drusy ring and necklace I got for my birthday and I love them ..
I'm like a monkey lol I love shiny things ..
 
Well, firstly today everything was going so wrong!

All it took was for one thing to go right and everything else just fell neatly and nicely into place.
I love when that happens.

Pushing through 'obstacles' that could have given me reason to give up before things even started and the feeling of ultimate success and incredible feedback from my mentor that went above and completely beyond my expectations and certainly his. What a way to end a week! 😀

I realised that this beautiful woman i have just spent the weekend with absolutely rocks my entire world.... never thought I would trust a woman again....
 
Getting together with the girl's again tonight. Only had a couple of drinks but I still managed to laugh so much my cheeks started to hurt! Seeing Brett again. What a man. I'm starting to have that inkling to play and boy is it a game I can play. 😏

That sounds SO good!
Butternut Squash soup is good this time of year, too.

I had a lot of good things happen, but the main one was seeing a short flurry of snow in the afternoon while I was curled up in bed with a book.
