what was the one good thing that happened to you today

i got a very nice surprise visit from a dear friend of mine in chat today who i havent chated with in almost 3 years or longer...was really nice ty 🙂 😀​

the one good thing that happened to me yesterday was,went to works xmas party last night and got drunk.but this year i remembered getting home :lol:​
 
took hubby to finally meet his new great niece 😀 went to see daughters xmas play was ok :lol:​

All my mail order packages came today when the kids weren't home to see them... i got to hide them in the closet till Christmas 😀
 
This week has been so full of good things that have happened to me 😀 It really started off last Friday with our Christmas fair and seeing the children's excited face's while they waited in line to see Santa .... the Christmas plays going so great (our Class 1 was the bestesttttttt by far 😱k: ).. our party yesterday, which was a riot and so much fun (imagine a class of 24 hyper 5yr olds, a crazy Teacher ,2 equally crazy Assistants, a BIG pile of wrapping paper ,lots of balloons, streamers, noisy tooter things, lots of food and you have the picture !!!) The best thing today though, was realising it's Friday and now I have 2 weeks off to recover :lol:
 
I've just mailed the new year gifts for my parents home. Two pair of shoes cost my half month wages, I hope they'll love them.

My Brother and his Family made it here for the Holidays.. and now we're all together.. happy and healthy and ready for Friday.. I am truly Blessed to have my loving family around me this year... 😀

My dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday. You all are probably thinking, wtf is that a good thing?...well, he's been sick for a month and I've been nagging him for that long to go to the doctor. :lol: He's a stubborn old goat. :hmm:

For Me.....I am feeling much better today after weeks ....flu is a biatch 🙄 and I tend to have it all the time without even a collar and jumping on Moi :throwup:

went out shopping with my neice and her baby daughter,bought my great niece a present.then popped into my sisters then we went around to my mums new home with some of her stuff,its so nice to see her in her new home 😀​

meant to post this yesterday,was my mums birthday so me my 3 sisters my niece and her baby ,went to spend it with her in her new home,it was nice got a few pics had a cake too was lovely 😀​
 
just been to my daughters parents evening at her high school.what an excellent report from all her teachers.hubby asked if they were talking about the right person :lol:, we r so proud of her 😀​
 
I realised few people can never change no matter what. Better to screw them than just spare.

i realised its ok to be happy now and that although u lose someone they still touch your life from afar 😉 and u can carry the love they gave you forever 🙂
 
I was thrilled to hear my son passed his drivers test! Not sure how thrilled I am that he can now drive where ever and whenever he wants.


As for me, I woke up with a smile on my face, and love in my heart.

Snow in the forecast.. my son is excited.... and i;m leaving in an hour to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and a well deserved Vaycay with my beloved Charlie...4 days of nothing but fun and good times... 😀
 
I realised, it is truly strange how long it takes to get to know oneself. I'm X years now, yet just one moment ago I realised that I absolutely love lightly toasted bread. Simultaneously, I also realised that I loathe bread when it is heavily toasted. For over X years, and quite unconsciously, I have been experiencing inner joy or total despair at my relationship with grilled bread.
