The temp hitting 40 (104) and taking my boys to the beach. Swimming out to the pontoon with them and all of us running an absolute muck. Jumping and flipping off. Was fantastic. Eating dinner on the lawned foreshore and then going back out to the pontoon. The moon was out and the sun was setting. Just amazing.
 
Knowing I made it into work with nothing but cold toes, while my coworker had to call off becuase of the snow. It makes me smile knowing I take the bus and she drives and I still get places on time 🙂

The universe giving me no option today. It was literally sink or swim when he swam towards me smiling that cheeky grin. It was written all over his face. "Gotcha." Of course I swam and played. :quiet:
 
well.. I made an awsum cup of coffee which is Huge!! and in a few hours I shall have 2 of my grand children Katherine and Nathan Matthew is In school , but I had him this past week end .. so I am tres happy.

Well, I like to have fun and today that included wearing my bright barbie doll pink Dame Edna party sunglasses that swirl all over the place and have diamontes. The double takes, comments, laughs and guys yelling out "You beauuuuuuuuuuuuuty" was just hilarious. When you can make other ppl laugh by being a deliberate dag and then laugh at yourself because of it, ahhhhhh dunno, its just a great way to bring some joy around.

Seriously, these glasses are crazy as!

was mothers day here today,got flowers and cds from my son n daughter.spent the day at my mums new home with my sisters niece great niece and my daughter was a nice day​
 
Seeing an old family video from 2002 with my wee boys in it. It made me pine for lost times that could have been better, made me a bit teary seeing how theyve grown, made me reflect on who I used to be with my regretfully 'tough' exterior and also made me realize how far Ive come. I love my little family.
 
I was told in store I CAN have the phone I want when I upgrade next week

Well it's good cause, I've been trying to harass the teacher all the time for the past 2 weeks, so I cud get kicked out (I'd still have full attendance since I didnt leave 😛)..

so finally, after 2 weeks of hard work ^__^ .. It's all coming to fruits.

Had a lovely day out with my son buying stuff for his action weekend away with school. Was pampered at the hairdressers with a scalp massage and a hair cut and finallyyyyyyyyyyyy spent my birthday money (actually on ME for a change!) and bought some GHD's 😀 I'm a very happy bunny :clap

A nice chat that was interupted by the thunder storm. Then deciding to stand out in the rain whilst lightning blazed across the sky and the thunder clapped. Enjoying the feel of the fat, heavy warm rain drops on my body. Feeling the rain drops change to crisper, cooler drops. Loving the rejuvenation. Was like breathing in a toke of a much needed cigarette or the drink of a beer. Just when I was feeling like a bit of a loon, soaked through to the skin with a huge grin on my face, my son came home and we played in it for another 30mins. Throwing buckets of water at eachother. And the funniest thing was whilst we were basking in it, a hail storm was reeking havoc not 10mins away. :lol:

ahhhhhhhhhh now thats what I call living life and enjoying the pleasures God has given us ! Even if to some it may not seem pleasurable to play in the rain.
 
the good thing that happened to me was that I was able to hold the warrior pose , left and right , stretching this old spine of mine , who knows I might be 5'9" again someday 😱k:
 
went to a spiritualist church tonight and got a reading from my sister and dad, 😀​
 
I got to go back to work today after being off for almost a month dealing with my dad dying, clearing out his home and planning and going to his memorial service.

I got one offer letter describing me that I am selected for the relief work going on in Haiti. Also, I will be given personal accommodation at each and every site I visit along with the affected people.
