what was the one good thing that happened to you today

that I have finally found a woman who I can run with , watch football with and understands the offside rule , enjoys a pint and that I will never tire of her company
 
It's not long into my day at all -- But sitting with a brew on my back door-step and hearing no screaming babies from next door, no chanting weird religious people in the other next door and not even a dog barking... It just felt good.​
 
Got up made my coffee then toddled out back and enjoyed the morning humming birds and the sound of nature all around me .. nice way to wake up 🙂​
 
I got praise for a 3D shopfitting project I've been working on, and not only did I get paid overtime which was unexpected, but also they've given me paid leave this Friday which means a lovely long weekend.
 
Organising this weekend with my man ... or him saying ""What do you want to do this weekend?"
My reply "Something fun."
Him saying "Leave it with me hon. I will sort something out for us."
Best part ... knowing that he always does.

I believe Escargo is on the menu too. :sly:
 
Found a cinema (and booked tickets for tonight) that's still showing The Hunger Games - after finally getting caught up in the hype and ploughing my way though the books, I decided I couldn't wait til 3rd Sept for the DVD release​

I have family, friends, a roof over my house, food in my belly and all the other necessities.:lol: I have a positive outlook on life and that's half the battle for a good mood. 😱k:
 
I'm on my way travellin across the united states seein all there is to see ridin in a semi truck god ive had all kinds of fun seen lots of things and ill have lots of memories life cant b no better than this hopefully ill make it to cali in about a week or so if we get a delivry out that way which i hope we do will take lots of pics and im postin them to my facebook tc ppl 😀

woke up this morning with my 3 babies laying beside me in bed.. got loads of kisses from my daughter and son.... and no poopy diapers from the little baby ! YAY! (he made up for that after breakfast) :clap:😍

my husband got up early and took care of the baby.. got the 3 older kids up and running and fed and out the door to school... he let me sleep in.. and brought me breakfast on the porch... what a guy 😍

I've been a regular member on another forum for almost a year - great forum - anyway, I stepped over the line in a Mideast Forum and got a two week vacay. It's good because I found C/A! Looking forward to (hopefully) NOT offending a anyone here 🙂

I have collected 12 black garbage bags of clothes for the homeless. This is just ONE weeks worth. I work at a recycle center and last year I noticed folks throwing out perfectly good jackets, pants, shoes [some leather, oolala]. So I started taking them to a homeless organization. Now word has spread and folks bring me their clothes!!!

I get so many I have to take them weekly.

My mother was homeless for a while and I just hope when she was cold someone handed her a jacket or a blanket--so I'm just playing it forward.
 
It hasn't happened yet, but I'm going to go to work later on tonight, and that's always a good thing because at least I have a job.
 
The Perfect Date. So the guy is a super challenge to be with
at times however sneaky bad dates in between with other
men reminds me of what I have ... Which is one lucky
******* with a winning streak and a 'make it happen' attitude;
which is why I woke up in a hotel room, had breakfast at some cafe
(after driving past FUKU Sushi ... Mhm Facebook photo indeed ... )
Walking the Govenors gardens, nicking tomatoes off the vine,
topped off with a water fight in the car. Heaps of other
stuff filled my day however it was all about the great
company.
 
Today I went to work and realized the pain in my feet from standing for 8 hours on end is becoming tolerable. Now the test will be tomorrow, when I have an 11 hour shift 😛arty: Let's get 'er done 😱k:

... on the beach, soaking up the warm Sunday sunshine, hearing the waves, feeling the warm breeze dance across my face ... whilst having my nipples sucked which made them pucker and pout even higher towards the sky. He chuckled and said they were like sea aenonomes being touched.
