Why can't the chat window in modern rooms be resized?

Is this possible in a future update?

I recall, in the old interface, private chats could be set up as tabs near the top.

1.open private window
2.drag the site you wish to use into the window.
3.resize the window

Thanks, but I meant the private 1:1 chat window. You have shown the general chat window where everyone speaks.
