Why is this our only outlet to make complaints?

Why is this our only outlet to make moderating complaints? We are told to come here and complain. Not all users who have a registered chat account also have a forums account. Most people do not check this place to either deny or contribute to allegations or complaints. On top of it, (as seen recently with the Finn Moderator complaint) the threads just get locked to prevent further discussion. That was even with other people including admins saying Finn should be reprimanded for what he did. Our voices are essentially shut here. This is a black hole. The chat admins dont ever reply to messages or give an update to the complaint filed. What we have here is a shame to our chat democracy.

We reply via PM , and why should we update complaints for all to see when it's been dealt with.
 
They shouldn't need to update on what's happening, But I do believe Finn needs to be dealt with. With those screenshots of changing the pics and moods is mod abuse.
 
This thread isn't the only outlet.

You can:
  • PM a mod the complaint
  • PM the room admin
  • Message the aforementioned people via the forums messaging system (like an email)
  • Message Chatmaster via the forums messaging system.

Because usually when you make a complaint you want to follow up on it or receive a response. Do you follow up a dispute with your bank or do you just assume they'll make things right? I have yet to receive a PM by any chat admin i've contacted here. Not even a **** off its been dealt with response.

The admins we are directed to contact. Although we have a new vgc admin the old one never bothered to reply. Neither Has CC admin.

Because on here the complaint is public....everyone can see it.
Plus its written down...not just some chatroom post that scrolls away.
 
This is essentially a public discussion. It's literally a public forum for users to come and post in.

your threads were closed for these reasons:

1 thread was closed because it had gone on for 3 weeks, contained proof from other chat sites ( that c/a had no control over) & the admin had asked that youd be redirected to their pm. https://forum.chat-avenue.com/forum...laint-from-videogameschat?p=917110#post917110

if you want your issue to be taken seriously then you need to pm the admin. you take the risk non discussion when you make a public thread.

i didnt realize posting ONE meme is considered spam. Go look at my earlier post in here admins dont respond to PMS.

The UMs close threads that have been resolved or are just straight up stupid and serve no purpose to continue to be open still. That could be from just it being insults or just not being needed.
