Why isn't Lunas admin yet?

I asked quite a few users if they wanted her to be promoted and 26 of them said yes, including Radiation, Paul14b, ReadableName (aka invis) and Starlight, among others. She's been mod for a solid four years, which to me seems like a pretty long time. There's even a hashtag going around #lunasforadmin. Given all the public support, why hasn't she been promoted yet?

I did explain to you that we have an admin for KC and that if he ever decided to move on then the new admin would be chosen by CM. It how things work. However, the most important thing is that we have a very good admin already.

i personally thought this was going to just be a pm to our admin in chat I didn’t know you were going to make a fourms post because this might just make it less likely for me to be an admin in general I would love to be an admin yes but with this cm might see it and just say no
