Why was I banned? I didn't do anything..

I was on Teen Chat talking to my friend g2xih when I was suddenly banned for "Spam". I wasn't spamming anyone tho. I might have been typing fast, but I wasn't sending messages fast at all. I'm so confused how I was spamming when I was just mostly listening to him. I don't wanna be banned.. All of my friends and my bf are on there. I have no other way to contact them or even give them a way they can contact me now.

Is there a way I can be unbanned? Or be let on so I can tell them what happened and how they can contact me? I'm very close to all of them and I don't wanna lose them..

Spam bans occur when the system catches a certain word or phrase used in your messages. Your ban has already been lifted by @Honeycomb, the triggered word was "mega" - don't use it again and you should be fine.

Doesn’t that message appear in all rooms re about the use of that word will result in a ban because of what’s it’s used for- as soon as you log in?

Yes I can see that’s innocent. Nightmare for staff and users

I only found out that word and what it meant about a year ago by @DynamicDylan .. which is a word I would say irl as an adjective so still have to be mindful what I say. As if I don’t do already but hey, thanks for the clarification

Poor user was talking to me. Anyways the spam ban is lifted and well lets see if our admin has anything to add and we could close it
