I would like to suggest to who ever reads this that we are very limited in length what we can write in main chat and pm I for one would love to see a increase in the amount of words we can use, is there such a need to have it so restrictive, doubling or no limit would be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to express them self with out hindering cutting short there messages, it's a serious request and would welcome any feedback

I think the current max is 300 characters, Doubt they'll be able to increase it more then that only because it seems like something will be abused.

A lot of stuff gets abused in here and I don't think having the characters increased would make mush differents to that,

If people are going to spam they do repeat the spam over and over again no matter what the character count is, so I don't envision that be a problem, and doubling of the word count would allow for greater expression and to be able to get your point across in one sentence, most people don't say more than a couple of words at a time and can't see it being abused,

Why do you put forward the suggestion of decreasing the count, by making the count smaller you are putting a cap on what people can say, it's a pain when you have to write two messages and they get lost in the busy chat room as well as your point that you are trying to make, I see it as something that can benefit the rooms and give better clarity and expression,

There is always private chats.

In rooms that often have up to and over 1000 '********' it makes it difficult to screen out key words for mods who try to make the room safe.
 
Id like to see more on friends wall as well. Some of us in girls chat share things like poems and song lyrics and there is not enough characters for that.

Each room can be adjusted differently so the larger rooms that may have issues with more characters can stay the same, smaller rooms that want it can have more characters
 
this is what chat avenue looks like when theres no character limit/ flood control. if you ask just about any sane person here wed go with flood control.

personal note to certain readers: yes i did look for aidsface, i think its in my file on a hard drive and im not really trying atm. these were just quick from cloud storage.

Start a blog, chatrooms are not the place for manifestos
