I can relate to the "Don't enlist"....
That said....I mostly enjoyed my time in the service...4 combat tours excluded.
And with that said....I wouldn't change that , 'cause experience helps to shape us...and I am pretty happy with what and who I am.
Anyways....my 20 year old self...

Stay clean and don't be scared to wear "the white hat'. I graduated university and turned down a job with federal law enforcement because I chose to be a street guy inside thinking I knew more than I did.

Oh goodness. If I had learned to tell myself no before learning to tell myself yes. I wouldn’t change that though. You have to be stupid/ignorant before you learn to be smart. I would tell my twenty year old self to sell everything and put money in Bitcoin, and not to sell until $65,481.
I would tell myself to do what I want to do and not what I thought was expected of me
