This is a petition to remove Zero Sazabi as mod. This senile moderator has been mod for the 3+ years I have been a member of VideoGameChat. He logs a total of about 2 hours in chat every year. Since I have joined I have seen him actively engaged in chat maybe a total of about 6 times. I understand moderating is voluntary but maybe you can understand that a moderator who is not active is essentially useless. His spot could be better suited by an active good user like BanjoBro or Bread.
All chat-avenue moderation teams demand that users use the ignore function whenever there is user to user conflict. This accomplishes absolutely nothing for the user when you dont have an active moderation team monitoring the room. The trolls who are ignored still run rampant, still harass, doxx, and violate rules. The only thing this solves is your inability to see these violations and thereby report them so that they can be dutifully punished. If we had active moderators instead of moderators like Zero Sazabi who just fill out our “limited number” of mod slots then the ignore button would actually work. We would also potentitally have a safer 13+ room and wouldnt have to sit through hours of content like this:
