Hi everyone,

Look I’m not really one for creating waves or complaining all too much about things in chat. I go there for laughs and to spend time with the people that matter to me, I don’t want backlash or anything from this but I’m concerned about where GC is headed. The mods have all done a great job in dealing with all the spam as best they can and I can’t praise them all enough, but to find out the spammer has just been given free reign in there is a joke, some of my closest friends don’t feel safe in there anymore because of this, is this what you want to drive regular, decent ******** away to please someone that just comes there to make it awful for everyone? By allowing him this you’re going to drive the core of what makes GC such a great room away. He breaks every fucking rule (sorry for the language) and still just gets to be there every single day, it’s a joke. Let’s face it my opinion probably won’t matter or make any difference, but I still think it should be heard. Some of the choices made in GC recently aren’t done for the right reasons or with the best interests of the ******** in mind, you don’t care about any of us although you pretend you do.

Sorry for the rant but things need to change or you’re going to lose what makes it so great.
 
This is a internet people all around the world come to this site second this is not a something a CIA site where they have too much equipment to handle ok , grow up use the Ignore option

Look around the world , you believe anything can change nowadays things are worst people acting like animals and this is a free site something not a VIP site ok or something like Instagram or Facebo ok even in those site they can't do anything and you are a grown up why you giving your attention your time to on those who are perv or pedo blah blah etc or something you are a troll because you are not even a new user

Your opinion is highly valued. As you can see, that person was banned. Just like in the room, forum has trolls as well. They are everywhere! 🤣

All I can say is I understand the concern with this and its truly heartbreaking that so many feel the same way you just explained. Hopefully there will be some sort of solution to all this. You have been with the room a little over a year now, yeah? Very well liked, many friends, and bring a fun attitude to the room each and every day, I thank you for that. I truly wish thing to get better as losing you and your friends would be a massive tragedy.
 
You raise some very valid concerns.
Theres an old phrase, in life we are given choices or options, do the easy thing or do the right thing.
I think too many people have been doing the easy thing,.
But in my view always doing the easy thing is a bit of a cop out.
Finding your goal without working for it is ultimately unrewarding.
I think people need to decide what they really want and what the goals of the room should be.
Just something to think about
 
I’m going to tag @maiseymac. She’s the new Admin of Girls’ Chat, and she seems deeply committed to hearing concerns, whatever they may be, and effectuating solutions.

She is still getting her bearings, so let’s afford her some grace and hope that some of these concerns get ironed out in the coming days and weeks.
 
Everyone gets what they deserve fast enough, mistakes happen but people like that will never be around for long. Just remember allowed doesn't mean welcome. Anyone that does talk to him whilst he is in there you know to stay well away from.
 
Actually making him stop spamming is beneficial for the room not the opposite and its safer. Now mods can concentrate more on predators, pedos, and trolls now instead of kicking him out over and over again for spamming. If you don't like him, it's simple put him on ignore.
 
I can’t help but underscore the irony that is you chiming in about spammers and bad actors in Girls’ Chat, @! Burnt Pizza. The utter lack of self-awareness is actually breathtaking.
 
his spamming didn't effect kicking out anyone else, it caused no problems at all. The spam at best is a small annoyance if no mods are around. Attack users, attack minors, insult people for days, banned for every rule we have. Transphobia and enough victimizing of minors that they have straight up quit over the years. Yeah, better he spams than be allowed to sit and do any of that again.

Pay no attention to this one, banned countless times on the forums and is kick on sight in chat rooms. He was known as Superfighter goodboy in chat many years ago and was coincidentally also a spammer. He’s seriously creepy. Stay well clear and don’t engage.

As for the other issue many have voiced their objections. It’s only a matter of time before it all comes unglued,
 
The important thing to remember here is that Girls Chat is on the road to recovery and is still a great room. Yes, we have had some changes that some may not like but we must have faith that these changes will only strengthen the room. Please do not be discouraged. Over the last few days, I've noticed so many more members chatting in the main and it's been wonderful. Give it a chance.

And, yes, we have our fair share of idiots, one of which tells you to use 'Ignore', yet won't use it himself, but that's another story.

Let's all work together as a 'community' to keep Girls Chat alive and well. And for those who do not wish to be part of the community but try to tear it down and criticize it, just leave, it's that simple.

I feel your pain.

Yes the results of this decision has led to a dramatic drop in regulars, especially the VIP regulars. This has been noted by those of us who have watched the numbers steadily grow the past month. The small group of us who gift VIP (I suspect we are the main source of VIP income ) have decided that for now we wont be doing so, too many are leaving.

I have an extensive cross section friends list. I have that to among other things to disseminate information and gather information with you guys. I have not seen my active friends list empty for at least 18 months. This past week its often empty. During our most busy times its half of what it normally is.

I am having girl and girl either say they are leaving or thinking of leaving.

I've done a straw poll and 100% have replied they are angry at the decision.

A girl posted this on the friends wall in the past 24 hours “ Seems that if you are a young chatter staff don't want to listen or even bother replying so from now on if I get a creepy pm I'm telling them to frick off and block I wont report it”

Over the past 12 months Girls chat has grown in regulars, there was often a sense of fun and camaraderie, (the spamming had little or no effect on this effective modding was nullifying him quite easily.) I have noticed and many have noted to me that this has gone that chat is no longer fun.

Once I have recovered some more from my recent accident I will be doing some things within my power to relieve some of this. Hopefully this will help you. You, your friends and others to get through this time.

There are members of staff fighting in your corner even if it does not seem so at the moment.
 
An observation, this time now was peak time for spammer, we usually had 360 to 380 in chat its currently 320. My friends list would have at least 6 -10 its 1.

Active VIP numbers used to fill the list on at least one page so I would have to scroll down to look at non VIP. There is currently 9 VIP users.
