The alleged thing behind saturated fat is that it raises cholesterol, but the question is, is cholesterol a good predicting factor for heart disease? Only in preliminary studies did they find a weak link between the two, not even taking into consideration confounding factors, and blew it way out of proportion. Cholesterol isn't an issue. If you still believe mainstream nutritional advice and think eating a lot of nuts, beans, seeds, grains, and fruit is healthy, then do that. I'm not telling you what to eat.
