It was right at the beginning too lmao https://ibb.co/6Y5gJkZ just in case she tries to edit the post.

@Bread. did you just see a bunch of words that looked like they disagreed with me and automatically hit the like button without reading them?

Oh No Smh GIF by NBC

Are you going to post a bunch of laughing gifs and say that she lied in letters 3 times as big as anyone else's? Or do I just have a special place in your heart?

Also this just goes to show your poor debate etiquette. Theres one of two things this means. That you don't even pay attention to whats being said, or you ignore false points when they come from someone who agrees with you but use the false points against your opponent if they rebuttal it. Either way, thats extremely poor debate etiquette.

I only said that because @SerenityMoon used "gun ownership has increased by 30% in twenty years" lol. I assumed she wasn't talking pure bs and had actually looked it up lmao. If that was a lie thats not on me
LOL now hes blaming another person for the words coming out of his own mouth. Now everyone can see how youre just spewing contradictory BS for the sake of being combative and not for the sake of debating.
In case anyone missed it:

Now he is arguing about the use of the like button? In a thread about mass shootings...and gun control...💀💀💀

I’m arguing that it’s ridiculous you’d like a post that asserted the exact same argument you called me liar for making a rebuttal to. The only reason those words came out of my mouth is because someone opposing my views in this debate said something that was a lie and I made a rebuttal to it. It seems like you’ve run out of arguments to my points.

That's according to the FBI. take that up with them.

In 2020, the most recent year for which complete data is available, 45,222 people died from gun-related injuries in the U.S., according to the CDC. That figure includes gun murders and gun suicides, along with three other, less common types of gun-related deaths tracked by the CDC: those that were unintentional, those that involved law enforcement and those whose circumstances could not be determined. The total excludes deaths in which gunshot injuries played a contributing, but not principal, role. (CDC fatality statistics are based on information contained in official death certificates, which identify a single cause of death.)

Though they tend to get less public attention than gun-related murders, suicides have long accounted for the majority of U.S. gun deaths. In 2020, 54% of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (24,292), while 43% were murders (19,384), according to the CDC. The remaining gun deaths that year were unintentional (535), involved law enforcement (611) or had undetermined circumstances (400).

There is no single, agreed-upon definition of the term “mass shooting.” Definitions can vary depending on factors including the number of victims and the circumstances of the shooting. The FBI collects data on “active shooter incidents,” which it defines as “one or more individuals actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area.” Using the FBI’s definition, 38 people – excluding the shooters – died in such incidents in 2020.

The Gun Violence Archive, an online database of gun violence incidents in the U.S., defines mass shootings as incidents in which four or more people are shot, even if no one was killed (again excluding the shooters). Using this definition, 513 people died in these incidents in 2020.

Regardless of the definition being used, fatalities in mass shooting incidents in the U.S. account for a small fraction of all gun murders that occur nationwide each year.

Sorry but, less guns would equal less gun related deaths. Thats really not up for debate.
And less vehicles would relate to fewer vehicle deaths. restricting access or banning things for incent people is absurd.

Motor vehicle traffic deaths
Number of deaths: 40,698
Deaths per 100,000 population: 12.4

All firearm deaths
Number of deaths: 45,222
Deaths per 100,000 population: 13.7

@Frombo Your "debate" isn't about saving lives at all. Your "debate' is about your ego and you being right. Your "debate" is about denying others freedoms that you don't wish to exercise.

no, my debate is about that the fact that less guns would equal less gun related deaths.

so it can then be said: since strict gun reform laws would reduce the number of guns in circulation, strict gun reform laws would save lives.

thats a clear line of logic. and its very simple. I'm sorry something so simple completely shatters your argument, it must hurt a little bit. I get that.

Like Jeff Foxworthy would say: If a clear and simple line of logic completely shatters your argument, you might not have a good argument.

This Thread Is Titled With A News Item About " Mass Shootings " A Walmart Employee Shot A Buncha Fellow Employees

And The Root Cause Was Not Because A Gun Was Easy To Get ... That Would be Incidental .

Just Saying Less Guns = Less Gun Deaths .... Does Not Address The Underlying Cause Of Sick People Committing " Mass Shootings "

Only The Military Should Have Military Grade Weapons .. That's About 25 % A Contributing Factor .

As In My Opinion It's 75 % A Mental Health Issue With The News Media And The Internet Illuminating Each Shooting To The Point

Where it Proliferates More Of These " Violent Mass Death Events " . And It's Not Just " Guns " Being The Cause

A Speeding Vehicle Can Kill Mass Amounts Of People And Has Been Done Recently

As Well As Bombs Being Used Which Also Has Been Done Recently .

Shouldn't At Least Half The Issue Be " The Mental Health Problem " Causing All These Shootings And Death ?

Seems That's A Big Giant Ass Elephant In The Room That People Do Not Want To Address

I’d rather have sick people commit their violence with knives, sticks and rocks rather than with guns. 1 sick person with a gun can kill a lot more people than 30 sick people with knives.

How About Addressing The " Sick " Part Of Your Equation

Wouldn't You Agree That It Is Easy To Come Up With An Instrument Of Mass Death Other Than Firearms ?

I Recall Some Very Sick Twisted Maniacs With A Warped Perceptive Lie From Perverting The Islamic Religion

To Implement Violent Death Upon A Mass Amount Of Innocent People ....

They Killed More Than 3000 lives ... Using Hijacked Commercial Airplanes .

They Didn't Perpetrate That Evil Deed Because Airplanes Were Easily Available To Hijack .

Why Are You Ignoring The Real Root Cause Of This Subject Which Is Mass Death Events As In The Walmart Shooting

Sick People Do Sick Things .. Like Murdering Mass Amounts Of Innocent Lives

And Now It Is Commonplace .. Proliferating .... We Got Mass Amounts Of Mass Shooters Killing Mass Amounts Of Innocent People

If That Isn't Sick .. As In Mental Illness ... What Is ? ..... It Is A Mass Amount Of Mental Illness .

So What We Are Really Talking About Is " A MASSIVE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEM IN SOCIETY "

So Keep Barking Up That Tree About Less Guns Less Deaths .... And Ignore The REAL ISSUE .

yes mental health is serious part of this problem. but its a fact that 1 psychopath with a gun can inflict much more damage, much more quickly- than 30 psychopaths with a knife.

What You Said Is True ... " Mental Health Problem " And yes I Concur ..

A Gun Is Much More Powerful Than A Knife In Terms Of Effectively Killing A Larger Amount Of People

So .. We Agree ... I Say it's Both With 75 % Emphasis On " Mental Health Problem " You Seem More Focused On The Gun Restrictions Issue

this isnt a mental health debate though. I'm focused on guns because this is a debate about gun reform laws.

Excuse Me Senor , The Title Of The Thread Is " Walmart Shooting " Not " Gun Reform Laws "

You Really Do Seem Stuck On Gun Statistics .... You Know There Will Be More Mass Shootings ....

You Gonna Keep Strumming That One String Banjo ?

Your Answer Is Gun Control For A Problem That You Yourself Admit Is A Mental Health Problem .

Walmart And The Whacko That Shot His Fellow Employees Have Nothing To Do With Gun Reform Laws

It Was A Mentally Sick Individual That Perpetrated Violence On His Fellow Employees

A MASS SHOOTING Just Like All The Countless Others Before Him .. And There Will Be More In The Future ..Sadly

I'm All For Gun Reform Laws ... Mental Health Reform ...Internet Environment Reform ... News Media Mass Shooting Reporting Reform

And Obviously ....Gun Reform Laws ...... You Want To Make This Subject Matter A Debate On Gun Reform Laws .

It Isn't ... It's Much More Than That .

lets just say guns are bad in general.
…… done ……

Guns ...Firearms ...Ballistic Weapons ...Are Hunting Tools .....Military Battlefield Assault Weapons ..

Law Enforcement Weapons Of Protection ....Personal Individual Lethal Protection

I Would Not Say They Are Bad .. Simply A Utility With An Obvious Functional Use .. Used With All Safety Precautions & Protocols ...

Fire Arms Training & Safety Certification Licensed Registered In The Hands Of A Normal Decent Citizen Individual Homeowner

Defending Their Property Private Home And Family Is Not A "Bad" Thing

Irresponsible People Bad People And Criminals Do Bad Things With Firearms

IT'S THE INSANE WHACKATOIDS WITH POWERFUL FIREARMS

Paul Rudd Wtf GIF by NETFLIX
KILLING A MASS AMOUNT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE

IN A MATTER OF MINUTES THAT I HAVE A REAL PROBLEM WITH

Move the Goal Post.

If your debate is about less gun related deaths. Shouldn't you also be for less vehicle deaths? I mean a clear line of logic and all.
And since the ownership of a fire arm is a constitutional right and owning a vehicle isn't, you'd have saved more lives by turning your fight against vehicles. Logically if you were against the lose of life as you seem to be debating now. So its not a gun issue its a people issue.
Quotes Mr. Foxworthy.
