Guns were created to put holes in things, be they paper target., game animals, and people. They are used to protect yourself. To hunt for food. You are humanizing an object.
 
Yes, you put words in my mouth. My point has been very clear. You're taking what I say out of context. That paragraph was explaining a rebuttal towards another argument. I've stated my exact point very clearly, several times. Why don't you quote one of those several times instead of taking me out of context?

And no, guns were created with the intention of hurting things faster. Paper targets, clay plates etc, are skill based games that are created to showcase skills with a gun. But thats not why they were created. Thats like saying cars were created with the intention to have NASCAR races. No, cars were created to help people travel faster, and guns were created to hurt things faster. Shooting paper targets/clay plates are skill based games to showcase shooting skills, NASCAR racing is a skill based game to showcase driving skills. There is still a fundamental difference between a gun and a car that you have yet to disprove. I purposely didn't bring up game animals because that still proves my point that guns were created to hurt things faster. I'm not saying a agree or disagree with hunting animals that isn't the point of this debate, but I am saying that including game animals still only proves that guns were created to hurt things.

Your losing steam without Bread its a shame he got banned. Because at this point in the debate I don't even think you truly believe what you're saying. You're grasping at straws because you realized that bringing up car related deaths in a gun control debate has put you in a sticky situation. A situation where you basically admitted that I'm right without realizing it.

Are you even reading your own words anymore? You accused me of saying a completely different argument. I urge you to go back and reread what you've said previously before making a new post. Otherwise mistakes like that happen.

Ya’ll that’s not how with do things here in ‘MERICA. We pray for the families of those taken from us in senseless acts of violence. In God we trust, he shall protect us from those savage murderers who are 100% to blame with zero blame on the guns or the pro gun lobbyists. The guns are innocent. You will not take aware our right to bare arms. Or is it bear arms? Is this a gun thread or a furry thread?

Anyway, my point is it’s a lot harder to kill a bunch of children with a hatchet than an automatic machine gun.
