Yeah he's pretty sh*tty. Even worse, a lot of the for-profit religion groups in America enjoy tax exempt status for they money they rake in from the people because the deity they claim to serve doesn't seem able to provide it.
This!!!!

Not in the way that 'traditional' theologians do.

I don't think gods and demons are entities, I think gods and demons are parts that live within ourselves that have been humanised and given titles.

I think theology is a corruption that was created by a novel and it is constantly interpretted and misinterpretted to suit an individuals needs.

I also believe it is another one of those things that only serves to divide people in to smaller groups to make them easier to conquer. You can't conquer a single entity when you take greed and religion (Some would say both are they same or at the very least a symptom of each of them), out of the equation. 'I want, you have' is the root of all evil.

I am definitely not religious. I respect people who have their religion. I listen to what people have to say regarding their religion. I used to go to church when I was younger. I stopped going when I was about 10 when a bunch of bad things started to happen in my childhood. My reasoning was always “why are these bad things happening if there is a God looking over me?” I was often told God had a greater plan for me.. what was my “greater plan?”
I suffered my whole childhood, being verbally abused every single day/night by a couple of my family members… the only saving grace was going to school but once I entered into High School I was verbally abused and bullied every single solitary day. Every time there would be like an assembly at school I’d just hide somewhere so I wouldn’t have to be near anyone and then I’d go home and get verbally abused there. What a great “plan” for God to have for me…. I am now an adult with anxiety, trauma and low self esteem. 🥴

I will say I am way more spiritual than religious. I do believe in a higher power. This might sound crazy but a few times I have been hit with some bad news, I often will see a butterfly either fly by me or once one almost hit me in my face. That’s why I have a lot of butterfly things. Butterflies are a huge symbol for me. 🦋🦋🦋

I'm religious I just don't go to church...

(I'm a Christian btw)

Despite not being religious myself, I actually have great respect for religious people. The only ones I'm not fond of are the ones who try to force religion down people's throats...or the types who are in the position of power (such as a priest) and abuses it through money laundering or taking advantage of others.

But I think a lot of people need something to count on, some kind of reminder to choose good over evil. I've read the bible twice out of pure curiosity and just the desire to learn more, and what it generally teaches us is to be good people and make the right decisions. I don't think that's a bad thing.

While i am religious i don’t practice and well frankly i believe in whenever supports EQUALITY FOR ALL.

The topic of believing in God is quite intriguing, isn't it? While I respect everyone's individual beliefs, it's unfortunate that some people give a bad name to those who genuinely seek spiritual guidance. Take Joel Osteen, for example, he's been quite controversial. It's essential to remember that not all religious figures are the same. Now there are many modern currents in religion. But for me personally, the choice always remains in favor of my church. I feel comfortable and safe there.
