If people joke about suicide and they spam continuously they should be banned. They should know that 911 is the number to call. I'm not afraid that I had a couple of suicide thoughts, but the time being here. Mostly, 90 percent of the users have internet access. There are a bunch of resources and yet, they are still here. If suicide words go to hundreds of people in the room it will spread negativity especially young ones who don't know what depression is... Just a thought...

& at least as far as general chat is concerned bc i cant speak for others as i am not a user there, but we are all very sick of it & tired of how obvious & inappropriate the people that do it in general chat for attention are…
im sure it happens in the others too, & the point of this thread is so that maybe all the admins of all their room’s collectively will see how big a problem it rly is & stop ignoring the fact that these arent ppl in pain, theyre psychopaths feeding off the attention & spreading toxicity thats exposed to the most vulnerable minds of all, children…
at the very least i hope that the general admin will step up, i wouldnt hold a grudge against him if he didnt… im just saying if i was the admin, there wouldnt even be a reason for someone like me to make this thread 🤷🏼♀️

They can't stop people from bringing up, "suicide talks" and stuffs. It's bound to happen.
The only thing that the staff (me) can do is enforce that rule of, "no suicide talk" or something like that.

u can't stop ppl from being sex offenders, & preying on minors either...
something still needs to be done about it, & banning them at least creates enough of a deterrent to make them think twice about it... warning & only kicking in increments just inconveniences them they almost always come right back...
the same applies to the ppl who casually bring up suicide, not everyone is clever enough to figure out how to evade a ban...

Simple answer. The Mods should have the number to the national and Global suicide hot line (988) and mute the person posting suicidal thoughts. If it continues Kick the individual with the annotation of the 988 phone number in the reason kicked.

they should just skip the first thing u said entirely & go immediately to kicking them... followed up by a ban from the admin...
the mod's only obligation rly is just enforcing the rules, if theyre coming on a chatroom to talk about suicide they obviously has access to the internet, & know how to access those resources already...
there is no justification for anyone coming on to a chatroom or any social media platform to post about wanting to kill themselves, bc the only ppl that do that on websites like these aren't ppl who are genuinely suicidal...
why even give them the benefit of the doubt, honestly??? giving them the benefit of the doubt gives ppl like @Abigail 19 an outlet... or allows ppl like Dionysus to use suicide as a clutch when theyre busted for being pedophiles...
